Vice President Mike Pence issued another warning to North Korea, labeling them the “most dangerous and urgent threat” to Asia-Pacific region.
Speaking aboard the USS Ronald Reagan at the Yokosuka Naval Base in Japan on Wednesday, Pence said the U.S. and our allies were ready to respond to any potential North Korean attack with “overwhelming” force.
“We will defeat any attack and meet any use of conventional or nuclear weapons with an overwhelming and effective American response,” the Vice President said.
“All options are on the table. History will attest the soldier does not bear the sword in vain,” he said.
Pence has used his ten day trip to the Asia Pacific region to flex the muscle of the Trump administration in the face of hostilities coming from North Korea.
