President Rejects Boehner's Vague Tax Compromise
Posted by Big Eddie | Wednesday, November 14, 2012

In his first news conference of his second term today, President Obama made it quite clear he will not accept any vague tax compromises of the sort being proposed by Speaker John Boehner.

"What I will not do is to have a process that is vague, that says we’re going to sorta-kinda raise revenue through dynamic scoring or closing loopholes that have not been identified. And the reason I won’t do that is because I don’t want to find ourselves in a position six months from now or a year from now, where low-and-behold, the only way to close the deficit is to sock it to middle-class families," the President said. Watch it.

John Boehner is running out of time. He has approximately 2 years to get his $hit together, before the mid-terms and democrats retake the House!

Boehner and his supposed “legacy” is forever damaged by the fact that he has UTTERLY REFUSED TO WORK WITH HOUSE DEMOCRATS from the day he became House Speaker!

The Republican “our way or no way” has cost our country billions and even gone so far as to disparage our good credit around the world!

For two full years, John Boehner has willingly bent over for his party and their tea-bagging obstruction.

John Boehner is not now, nor has he EVER been a leader!

Just like all the rest in his party, he is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the billionaires who have turned their sacred “GOP” into an incoherent self-indulgent fascist hellhole.

While catching bits & pieces of the daily stories on the news, couldn't help but think back to GW Bush explaining the "faulty" intelligence on WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION.

We just had to 'get over it'~ shrug. All the excuses from the right how W didn't really lie he was just mis-informed. People I know personally still make excuses for poor little GW!

President (of the USA) Obama is taking these guys to task on their vague language that they use now and used all through the campaign. (campaigns...!) I hope he does way more of this.....press conferences calling them all out on every point.

That party needs psychiatric help. They don't have a clue as to why they lost the last two elections, and the only reason they kept, control of the the House, this time, is because of Gerry-Mandering. GOP" Go Get Physchiatric Help Please, not that it would do much good. They have to go to Fox News so they all can lie about why they lost, and to continue to find anything, they can, to blame on the President, because they just couldn't get rid of the guy. And, Now, the Republicans in the Ohio State House, are returning to their old tricks of going after women. Incredible!

The GOP, will never-never, change, and that is something that they will have to explain in their own districts. Like it really, matters, anyway, because those Red State people keep voting them all back in again. The President is talking tough and moving ahead like he needs to do, with no looking back. Good for him!

Nasty, pouting, loser McCain, please go back to frickin Arizona, and plant yourself in a hammock and stay there. Please shut up, Lindsey Graham, you are almost worse than McCain, if that is possible.

The President made it very clear, today, that he will not sit by, while you try to drag anybody from his Administration through the mud. Do you all, have mud clogging up your ears?

If you wanna talk to someone why don't you go get GW Bush, and his puppet, Condi Rice, to start talking, because, she and her master are the ones who are at fault for most of the occurences, in all those countries, because of what they started in Iraq. The war in Iraq started the whole thing. Period. Go find the blame where it truly lies, with GOP warmongering policies.

Is John Boehner a mouse or a man? Time will tell whether he has the guts to do the right thing for the majority of the population. He still holds the Speake"rs seat so let's see if this term he shows any sign of being a leader.
