Romney Praises Socialized Healthcare System in Israel
posted by Ed Staff | Monday, July 30, 2012
During his visit to Israel, Mitt Romney took time out to praise the heathcare system in Israel -- a system that has been socialized since it was founded.
Every Israeli citizen is entitled to health care services under the National Health Insurance Law.
Every resident has a right to register as a member of an HMO of his/her choice, free of any preconditions or limitations stemming from his/her age or the state of his/her health.
Each member has a right to receive the health services while preserving the member’s dignity, privacy and medical confidentiality
It's not really clear how the Israeli system differs from the Affordable Care Act in such a substantial manner that Mitt Romney would praise it while disapproving of Obama's health care plan. It seems more likely the Governor is simply pandering for votes with the Jewish voter demographic.
Willard the weather vane; could it be that a half decent man has fallen so low as to not even remember which side of the issues he is on anymore? Serves him right for trying to foist fascism onto the country that fostered him into all the wealth his shady dealing has brought him.
We have the choice of running with the oligarchs and turning this country into a fascist state, or bringing top down economics to a screeching halt by 86'ing this dillard and his party.

Is he on some kind of a PR tour??? Did they invite him to all of these countries??? When Obama visited Europe while W was still President they practically called him a traitor. As if he hadn't earned the right to represent the US anywhere.
Tell me how Romney has earned the right to represent us anywhere in the world???!!!
If this is PR it has been a dismal failure. Everywhere he has gone he has mortally embarrassed this country.
He insulted the British at one of their proudest hours, he insulted the Palestinians and said that Israel had a "superior culture" to theirs. What else is that but pure blatant racism?? Then he's got his bodyguards telling the press to shove it and calling them a-holes. He was doing nothing but pandering to the Israelis. They don't vote here! And we don't have the vote in their country, who cares what they think about our foreign or domestic policy?
Well his so called PR tour has been an unMITTigated disaster!

Talking of health care I wonder what this man will say to the Poles as their health care system has many things that the evil romney and obama care. You have to have insurance, you employers is mandated to pay for it or part of it, if you are retired (social security) you dont pay anything to have health care. This is what romney calls socialist health care and will he say how great it is and talk of the gdp and all the things he said was great about Israel health care..
just my humble view

Pandering to AIPAC. Of course he has already signed the AIPAC pledge or he would have been run out of Washington by now. You must sign off on all things Israel if you ever want to raise a dime or ever have any kind of support. Those that don't get booted out, sometimes set up to get booted out. Ask Cynthia McKinney.
I am by no means anti-Israel. But why do all politicians sign this pledge??? And if they do, then who is really running our policies, foreign or domestic??
What good does it do to vote for someone only to have them turn around and pledge support to people that don't even live in this country and who may not have our best interests in mind?
At least in Israel they can see the light that healthcare is essential. Too bad their healthcare support is not part of the AIPAC pledge. If it was we all would have had it years ago, wouldn 't even have required a vote.

Do you think Obama is getting help from abroad...the Huffungton post ran that article that conservatives in england had not forgotten Bush and were concerned about the rise of neo conservativism in the US---hence that over the board response to Mitt making a statement about being ready for the olympics--not a response expected in upper lip Britian.
I thought the overenthusiastic response meant something? Apparantly a support of Obama.
Now this Healthcare Gaffe in Isreal. In a country that has more reason than most to fear a rise in neoconservatism....do you think this is Isreals attempt to help obama and prevent the rise of neo conservastism in the US & globally?
Not to mention no one has forgotten this economic mess started in the US because of lax regulations not practiced in any other G8 country
I was beginning to suspect help from abroad when suddenly gas prices went down while the Repubs were busy making gas prices into an election year issue.

Once again Romney proves he's phony as a three dollar bill. This guy is just a total fraud who will flip flop and pander to whomever he is talking to at the time.. Anybody else's healthcare law (including his own) is OK , but the Democrat plan? we can't have that. I really don't know too many pubs running in to defend this joker. A lot of repubs don't like him either, but individualism is dead on the right .They are required to goose step in a row, hate Obama, and settle for whoever is running against him. Character doesn't matter.
