Holmes is most likely faking amnesia now..............he seemed to remember he was at the movies & then asked the jailers & guards how the movie ended..........so he clearly has memory & not amnesia............if he had amnesia he would not have been asking questions about missing half of the movie because he wouldn't have remembered that.

The NRA is a political lobbying entity.............in fact the NRA is more about politics than it is about people.

John, LA, you are totally on to something there and I hope they shout it from the rooftops. No better time than to bring up those without healthcare that were victims of that tragedy.

They need to demand answers from their government not only about the NRA lobby and gun control but also about healthcare. Now they are ALL THREE related in the same incident.

How do we know "gun laws" work? Because countries that have them have far, far, far fewer murders than the USA. How long before the next mass killing? How much will be enough?

I understand one of the victims of this horrible event will have a $2,000,000 medical bill because he doesn't have medical insurance. Maybe he should sue the NRA. After all they're somewhat culpable opposing responsible gun laws.

Continue to boycott Hello Kitty at all costs. There is nothing "CUTE" about a weapon of mass destruction. I think this country ought to refuse to import anything from Sanrio until they agree to quit putting their logo on this stuff.

I've got my work cut out for me right here in Texas. Just passed a billboard today listing all the gun shows upcoming here in Houston. I think there are about 8 in the next few months.

One of the more noted gun shows is the one in Pasadena, yes, that one, of Urban Cowboy and Gilley's fame.

I just so happens it is also now the home of aspiring athlete and female boxer 19 year old Marlen Esparza who is headed to London in hopes that the IOC will vote to allow female boxing as an event. They need to get rid of the redneck image.

Lee, more like Ronald McDonald on heroin, crack, and meth. They keep showing him because well the media just can't help themselves. Shock and awe, shock and awe. Be very afraid.

Rob I must disagree with you on the poster child remark as he should be the poster child for Roe vs. Wade beind protected, and all anti-abortions laws being done away with. The press shouldnt have even covered his hearing live, but put the stroy at the end of the paper or the last thing on the broadcast.

NRA is nothing more that grover norquist but protecting gun makers. The facts about assualt weapons are that they are no good for hunting, home protection, and are made for one thing that is to harm and kill people and that is the facts on these guns. If somebody needs a hundred rounds to hit a target I dont want to be near them when they are shooting a weapon....

just my humble view

I think it's disgusting of how they keep showing his face on TV and in the newspapers. This is a slap in the face to those who lost loved ones as they have to see this monster enjoying all the attention that he's getting. Take his face off TV because a lot of these stations will use it for media promotion. The same thing happened when we had to miss programs because of the Casey Anthony trial.

The NRA argument against gun laws is basically people will break the law anyways to why have gun laws? My answer to that is another question? So why have any laws at all? Why have speed limits, stop signs, traffic lights, legal drinking age & etc..........because people will just break those laws anyway..........

My point is yes, some people do still speed, run stop signs, drink before the legal age, but statistically if keeps the public safer & people who break the law face consequences & yes people do get caught..................so the argument saying gun laws don't help make the public safer or prevent anything is statistically laughable & doesn't hold water. Laws are an obstacle & deterrent...............you might get caught in the act...........& that is one form of prevention statistically..............................

I do not intend to diminish the severity of this tragedy, but my first thought was: He looks like Ronald McDonald on heroin.
