Well well well. The constitutional tea bag GOP experts that couldn't read the Constitution in Congress without screwing it up don't seem to understand it either. For all the CONservative hate our government types, I recommend the sage advise that began the culture war - Love it or Leave It! GOP - Wrong on the Constitution, National Security, Economics, Patriotism, Liberty, Freedom, and pretty much everything.

Is the fine for not having liability auto-insurance still a penalty or is does it have to be changed to a tax according to the Supreme Courts ruling on the Government's meaning of regulating commerce? Will this open up a possible challenge in the courts?

Lets call the Affordable Care Act "Obamney Care" now & see how the Romney Camp responds to that since Romney Care & Obama Care are nearly identical........just a little sarcasm, but labels work well with what Ed Calls the Head Shaking Crowd so in my opinion if we keep pointing out "Obamney Care" similarities it will keep them on the defense & take the legs out from underneath their repeal campaign........

How does the Supreme Courts ruling on the Federal Government's take on Commerce apply to other commerce like Auto Liability Insurance????

I would give big money to be able to talk to the GOP about this. All of the federally elected officials have fantastic insurance for themselves and their families. Ted Kennedy hammered that often in the Senate. I think what Romney and those other Repubs are afraid of is losing money lining their pockets from the insurance companies for one. Also, anything they can do to stomp on the 99%, they will do without ethics or morality.

I'm a nurse and have seen how horrible life can be for people without health insurance. None of the Repubs are in that situation and they are totally clueless.

I am pround that the American Association of Nurses has backed President Obama all the way as have the state associations.

So, look out Mittens and Company. Don't think you'll be able to 'drink Koch" and make it better for everything that happens that you don't like- money won't help without good health. Show me an intelligent and caring President of the US who knows what it is like to have nothing - I will show you President Barack Obama. How pathetic that Mitch McConnell reinforces that the Repubs will turn over everything the President has done - they don't even care about their constituents unless they have big money

This is just the start for true justice and equality in our country. If the Repubs don't like it - too darn bad. They don't have a better idea - "put up or shut up".

Donnajoy......you are right we have accomplished a great deal, especially with the GOP trying to stop us at every turn. However, we can't stop to celebrate. we need to fight for our rights as women, we need to tell everyone that will listen that President Obama has been working for the last 3- 1/2 years to clean up the mess G.W.Bush had left us in and had hidden so well from us. President Obama has had road block after road block from the GOP. Yet he has kept us safe, has fought to save us money and to give us health care, HE HASN"T TAKEN ANYTHING AWAY FROM US.....and HE DOESN"T PLAN TO.

President Obama is in a fight for our lives as well as winning re-election. He can not do this alone anymore we have to support our president in everyway that we can. The world heard Mitt Romney say if elected the 1st thing he plans to do is bring down the Health Care Law or as Romney likes to call it Obama Care. Well.....ObamaCare= Romney Care and Romney cannot hide from that fact anymore. Romney went first with his health care in Mass. and prepared the way for President Obama to improve on his plan and offer to the whole country an health care plan not just one state like Ronmey.

We need to keep president Obama for four more years. He is the one with experience. Not Mitt Romney. And don't forget Mitt Romney has been running for president for 8-years.

Yesterday was a great day for this country. The Supreme Court under Justice Roberts made a wise decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act. Contrary to the GOP, I feel that Health Care should be available to all Americans. It really is a win-win situation because when we have a nation with healthy individuals, it benefits us all. To focus on the preventive component of this bill, will eventually bring down costs and create a healthier nation. We are fortunate to have visionaries such as the President, Nancy Pelosi and those who came before them (i.e. Hilary Clinton) who have fought hard to put us on the right track because the alternative is destructive to all of us. In time maybe the GOP will get that this is the right thing to do and their predictions of jobs loss and rising costs, which arise out of fear of change, are unfounded. For the present time, we progressives feel that we have accomplished much for the good of this great country of ours.
