The GOP's war on women continues. You'd think they would have learned their lesson with the election approaching, but it seems clear they haven't. You're only left to conclude the Republicans don't want women's votes. Watch it.
Thank god for vaginas! Women obviously still dont have true equality. It is nice to see women in politics, but I think there should be more, and they deserve equal treatment.

Good one Lee. Is it just me or does Romney & Co remind you of the families we used to see in the old elementary school readers, you know the kind that were always perfect, not a hair out of place, always smiling, like "Dick and Jane". I actually used to think I came from a screwed up family because we didn't look or act like them. Then as I grow and mature I realize they never really existed, they were a figment of someone's cruel imagination, like the Cinderella story that so many of us women bought into. I think we are witnessing something of a "second women's revolution", and no wonder all these shriveled up old men are trying to pass laws to silence us and keep us in submission. Did you see the 3 old men behind that Michigan speaker of the house as he is "censuring" the woman rep for speaking her mind? 3 old shriveled up white men deciding what is and is not proper language. What a joke. But sadly that is STILL the face of most legislature and Congress. But oh, the times, they are a-changing!! And for the better.

I have to wait another year to return to the states, and so, I am missing all of the fun over there. All I can do is add my two cents on here. Great Job ladies, everywhere, and to the Nuns and their Big Bus. I applaud you and what you are doing. The man dominated Catholic church, makes me sick to my stomach, because they are now liars just like the rest of them, or better yet, want to preach about things on their own terms, not humanity's, and are telling women The Nuns" what to do! I love the big sign in this video. Couldn't have said it better myself.

She looks pretty ticked off. I can tell when a woman goes buggy eyed. :) Seriously, The repubs are going back in time when a woman knew her 'place' and they just shut them up. Besides absolute control the old white boys want over reproduction, the pubs have once again shot down the Paycheck Fairness Act. This is twice in three years. Among other things, the Act would ban employers from disciplining or firing workers who simply ask questions about wages. Approximately 12 million families with children rely primarily on women's earnings, and over a third of mothers in working families in all but two states are the primary bread winners. It's estimated that over a lifetime of work women earn from $700,000 to two million less than men doing the same job, according to CLUW, the coalition of Labor union women, and Sen. Barbara Mikuliski, a top proponent of the Fairness Act.
Why any woman would vote repub is beyond me, This new silencing act by repubs nationwide to anybody who disagrees with them is a real black eye to our democracy, and a very dangerous trend. I hope women do show up in mass in November. Your future is at stake. It's time to get these old fart control freaks outta there.

I just saw a hilarious political cartoon. It's a female legislator speaking in session and she says: "Apparently you can't say vagina in a room full of p*ssies"! ROFL

Pat, you are spot on. Remember the "old fashioned" intervention for incest? Blame the victim and ship her (and the resulting child) off to live in shame.
I like to think that women hold the key to this election. My gut feeling is that they will refrain from the drama (except where rights are imminently threatened) and quietly vote the tea baggers out in November.

American women, wake up!! Republicons will take you to a place you don't want to be! Women should be immune to brainwashing since we hear it all our lives.. My daughter said I was lucky to grow up in the sixties when people were more politically active and aware, but I said, NO, child! The very rights being attacked are the ones we didn't have back then. You and your generation can't even imagine; mandatory no pants in school, no girls' sports teams, no access to birth control, girls dying from illegal abortions, girls with little recourse from sexual abuse, just to name a few. The truth is, winning the vote is only the beginning. It takes generations to right the wrongs that happen while you had no right to vote.
If my life ever settles down, I'm going on the road to heckle every public robme appearance. Watch for me and my sign: TAX THE RICH!!

Great work ladies. How about an encore presentation today as an opening for Mitt's visit to Lansing on his Every Towns Counts bus and plane tour. You could invite the entire Republican dominated Senate and House, the Republican Governor, the GOP Michigan Supreme Court Justices to enjoy that -----(censored)--- monologue experience on the Capitol lawn again.

PS on my comments about this denial of rights has happened to men also when they stood up against the rights bully boy tatics. In michigan they passed and law and denied the dems to debate it. They did it even when the dems were asking for a debate they just said they would do a vote which was who is in favor and in 3 seconds the bill was passed even in the video no hands were raised. This is democracy it is a dictatorship. Is this what the people want?? I would say I dont as they are denying rights and they say the left did it when the left was in power I havent seen this done and if so show us the proof of this.

Are you sure about the feminazis united?? Just kidding... They will call women who stand up against these laws and the denial of rights feminazis as they dont know how to react to them. These so called men are living back in the middle ages when women were nothing more than property of a man and were there to have childern, cook, clean, and to have sex with. These clowns better wake up as there are more women in this country than men and world wide except for china there are more women. If women revolted against men we men would be in trouble. The sad fact is there are too many women who dont believe in themselves for many reasons, but what I have read and seen most of these women are held back by their religions views. I see it where I live many women just follow the lead of the men and it is because they are the religious right and a few on the left. Most of them are gop who look like a women of the 50's. This is how their moms were and they have been brain washed to think they are not as smart as the men in their lives and cant think for themselves. We do have women who are progressive and I see them on the fire department and other places that were manly a man's world that has changed. The only complaint I have and have had is when women want to invade a man's world that is fine, but these same women will scream at men who try to invade the woman's world. I feel both men and women need some places where it is either all men or all women. Each group need some room to just be men or women.
The tea baggers=gop have started to deny women their rights because of their views that are based on their narrow view of the bible and never look at the history of men and women. The bible as the consitution is a frame work that changes with time and is used as a guide, but these people think these are set in stone, but they are not. Also these men and women on the right are basing all their laws on the christian religion and denies the rights of others who religion isnt christian as stated by the lady when she more or less said you are dening me my right because of your religion and this is true.
