The dirty tricks are in full effect in Wisconsin. Wisconsin voters are reporting receiving robocalls that claim voters who signed recall petitions or voted to recall Governor Scott Walker are not required to vote again tomorrow, June 5th. This is incorrect information. Regardless of whether you signed petitions or voted previously, you still need to vote tomorrow in the June 5th recall election.
In addition, there are groups pretending to be protectors of voting rights who are already spreading misinformation on voting, and they may be out tomorrow attempting to intimidate voters waiting in line to vote. Sometimes they will be wearing official-looking clothing or jackets that have things like 'Election Protection' printed on the back. As mentioned on the Ed Schultz radio show today, you do not need to justify your presence at the polling place to anyone. You are not required to show anyone proof that you are registered. You are not required to talk to anyone other than the friendly people sitting at the polling place desk or table.
Outside the polling place, you are allowed to videotape or photograph anything you like. If anyone harrasses you, you can take their picture, report them to election officials, or even call the police. Inside your polling place, report any troublemakers to election officials.
After voting has closed, your polling place becomes an open meeting. You are allowed to peacefully observe, and more.
Do not be intimidated, do not turn away from your right to vote for any reason. Go out and vote tomorrow!
hey everyone dont you know fraud good for tea baggers=gop fraud bad for everyone else.

I've always recognized that the least trusting persons are the least trustworthy. The GOP's paranoia over "voter fraud" is driven by their obsession to commit it by any means possible - denying others, harassment, misinformation, deceit, lying, and all the others sneaky, dirty tricks that have become synonymous with ALL Republicans.

Thom Hartmann's stories of GOP blocking and in some case outright treason sabotage over the last 70 years got my blood boiling.
The worst was Nixon getting the South Vietnamese to halt the Paris peace talks before the 1968 election. He promised them a better dea.
As a result, the thousands of soldiers were killed and maimed, as the war lasted 4+ more years.
Same thing with Carter and the hostages - Regan cut a deal.
I now will spit on everyone who votes Republican!

Linda,
Voter suppression has always been one of the lych pins of GOP strategy.
Do they have electronic voting machines in WI?
God, I hope not.
I'm a computer consultant, and I know how easy they can be rigged.

This campaign has been damned dirty from one end to the other and it is ALL coming from the Walkerbots. The nastiest radio ads and tv ads, downright lying to the public, now telling voters that they don't have to vote tomorrow if they signed the recall and much more. I have a feeling that no matter what happens tomorrow, this is not over. The Teabaggers have been co-opted by the billionaires wanting to see the democrats gone and with them, the middle class. I do not understand these people. If there is no middle class, then who is going to be making them multi-billionaires? Nothing ever happens until someone sells something or teaches something. If no one is selling or teaching, the bloated top of this house of cards will have to collapse.
Brother can you spare a dime? "No, Mr. Koch, I cannot..."

Ed, this isn't about just eradicating unions. These thugs have already and are going to resort to more violence to seize power in Washington. They are doing this state by state by state in each Republican convention. Imagine what they have planned for the voting public next November 4. They are physically assaulting and throwing the opposition party out of the conventions when they find out they are outnumbered.
I'd like to know what Holder thinks about this! Forget voter purge---this is a situation that is going to escalate and lead to disastrous results if the media doesn't acknowledge it is going on and start reporting on it. If they would do this to each other God only knows what they have in store for the rest of us who plan to vote Democratic.
Am I the only one who sees this as a huge problem??

It's not so much about the Koch Bros/Romney cabal mistreating Democrats, it's how they are treating EACH OTHER.
Again, complete and utter chaos at the Republican state convention in Louisiana that gets NO PRESS COVERAGE AT ALL!
This was Republican on Republican violence. I am sure Jindall was behind the big influx of cop goons that assaulted and arrested Ron Paul delegates because, AGAIN, Ron Paul delegates outnumbered Romney delegates. This has gone on in state after state after state.
Ron Paul may be alot of things but he is not a liar. He stated very plainly months ago that he had the delegates to outnumber Romney at the state level conventions and this has been born out to be absolutely true.
I dont' know what it is going to take to get some coverage on this. I know the recall election is important, but this was going on months ago.
You can see all the videos on youtube. Just search "chaos at Louisiana state Republican convention."
The convention chairman was roughed up and manhandled and had to be hospitalized.

Big Eddie, Keep the pressure on these right wing nutbags out in Wisconsin. The Party of NO to America's Future is dangerous. These hired politicians only care about a few and not the many.
Wisconsi, get out that vote and give Walker the boot! Send this Anti American hate monger to the unemployment line!
