Where is the Envagelical Right?

Pro-lifer Rick Sanotrum's wife Karen ( before she met Rick) but when we get a president we get a First lady....lived 6 years with an abortion doctor..40 years her senior and this doctor delivered her as a baby!

Karen Garver Santorum was 22 years old and a nursing student and the abortion doctor was 63, divorced and the dad of 6 children. By the way Doctor Allen is alive and well at age 92 and is a close friend of Karen Santorums family.

The GOP has to change the process for selecting their presidential candidate. I thought I was going to die of laughter this past week. What ever they do next time should be less entertaining and time consuming. I'm thinking either an ultimate cage fight on the Glen Beck channel or an actual dual sponsored by the NRA but am open to any method that achieves the objectives. The GOP process of wack-a-mole by CPAC, "values" conferences, patriotic patriot meetings for self-proclaimed patriots and ditto heads, straw poles, caucuses, and closed primaries inspired by phony "debates" is not getting the job done. Given the collective intellect of the candidates and the audiences, it is quite possible that watching 20 some debates could have the same effect of watching Faux News and actually make us less informed voters. I hope my fellow citizens can see throgh this. And of course their is the dirty little secret of using Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina to roll out the field. Iowa can't even count ballots and needs an audit by ACORN before we know the real results of their primary contest.Let's start next time with California. New Hampshire is a little quirky and likeable but it ain't New York. What can you say about South Carolina that Strom Thurmond and Jim Demint hasn't already said. Let's face it the garden of good and evil has gone mostly politically evil. I think Florida should go third. Florida may not be perfect but it's not Texas.

Hey Rex, didn't you know that is the GOPs meathod of "population control"?

On another forum they keep calling liberals "socialists" so I started calling them nazis. They take over cities, kick out ELECTED officials take away workers and womens rights. Isn't that what the nazis did?

If any one of these lying hypocrits get in the WH, we'll see a lot more and worse. The middle class will not only shrink, it will disappear totally. And I don't think it will take them long to do it.

Rex, I don't believe the true Republican party is in charge of anything anymore. If there are any moderates left, they sure keep a low profile. The Wingnuts have hijacked them to a Stockholm syndrome state, where their constituents actually believe the incredible horseshit they spew these days. The best they could do was McCain and Palin last time. We would have had the Draft back by now to keep up with the old man's wars. Now look at their field. Gingrich is a pig, and they cheer him in Carolina. It's amazing what they are willing to overlook in their own party just to unite on a visceral hatred of Obama.

By the way pubs, General Motors is number one in the world again. That must be Obama's fault.

Rob, Oregon: If any of these GOP clowns get in the White House the middle class in this country is probably doomed to shriveling up even further. You have a nicer way of summing everything up in few sentences where I write a whole paragraph. Anyway, Democrats need to stick together because the fear of one of these GOP candidates getting into office is nothing but a nightmare for any working family with a W-2 and a pile of bills on the table. I have not heard any of these candidates on the GOP side articulate how 50 million uninsured Americans can find affordable health insurance. I guess 45,000 uninsured Americans can die annually from treatable conditions and that is just fine with anyone of these candidates. God help all of us if these Koch brothers/super-PAC monsters take over the White House.

I just cant wait!! Will they pick the corporate raider guy with six houses who doesn't use Turbotax and pretends to know what it is to want, and doles out a fiddy dollar bill to a Black woman? the sleazeball, triple chinned, racist, lying, ethics violation, wife swapping guy? the sweater vest, racist homophobe? the invisible old guy who makes them cringe with talk like getting out of the war business? I'm on pins and needles.
