Gov. Haley: Not Fair to Hold Romney to Job Claims
posted by Ed Staff | Friday, January 13, 2012

SC Governor Nikki Haley says it's not fair to hold Mitt Romney accountable for his claim of creating 100,000 jobs.  Surely because she understands that it is possible he created 100,000 jobs, only to be offset by even more job losses in Bain's job cutting and liquidation.

Romney's camp has now begun to drop that number.

Mitt Romney bought himself 1 vote in South Carolina for $50.00. What about the person behind the person........9% unemployment there..

If this lady thinks Romney is getting his butt kicked now, just wait til she sees what they will do to him in the general election.

The GOP wanted and fought for this Super Pac crap. They stacked the court with right wing idealogues to do their bidding. Now it is coming back to bite them in the butt.

Hey righties, it's called "be careful what you ask for."

In the GOP world of lies and distortions it is not fair to point out the truth.

Not fair?? These idiots make me puke. The pub/teas have a real problem with Barack Obama's name, but have no problem with Nimrata Nikki Randhawa Haley as a Governor as long as she's a pub. This late great nation really must pay better attention to the mid-term election. That is when the nut jobs are put in office by asleep at the wheel voters who don't think the mids are that important.

It seems like anything is fair attacking Obama, but it's wah wahh, not fair seeking truth in their own camp. Hypocrites, all of them.

One more thing about the abortion law. I can tell you this much, the women of Houston and I cannot speak for other parts of Texas, but the women of Houston AIN'T GOING BACK!! We have an openly gay mayor who just got re-elected to office, she is doing a stellar job of running the city. This is proof positive that alot of Texans are progressive. We blatantly reject draconian laws designed to not only invade or privacy but now invade our wombs. Have they learned NOTHING??

Perry and his like are going down in flames and they lit their own match.

I predict the Republicans are going to be victims of their own stupidity in the next election. They don't learn from anything or retain anything. The main reason they lost the 2008 election was their choice of a VP. This time they will lose because of the choice of President. Romney has yet to break 40% anywhere in the polls. Consistently more people have voted against him than for him. Those people in the 2012 final election will not vote for him because more info will come out about his taxes and other negative things, plus he is just a freaking insincere robot and it show. They will either not vote or vote Democratic. Either way they lose.

Linda V, I tell you who is really pitiful is Anita Perry. I have yet to see her break a smile anywhere on the campaign trail. She is living with the lie of her husband's secret life that I can assure you just like John Edwards, will come out sooner or later.

Ron,

I can see Texas courts overturning the abortion law or at least issuing injunctions to prevent it from being implemented. So are they going to have the Fetus Police standing in every OB-GYN office ready to arrest any doctor that doesn't do the procedure? I know alot of women who refuse to even get ultrasounds when they are pregnant and plan to keep the baby. Are they going to arrest a woman for NOT having an ultrasound? This is one of those over the top laws that will not withstand scrutiny.

Texas legislature is completely gutless. Perry caved on the outlawing TSA gropedown legislation that he had once supported. They had the votes to outlaw it and the Gov and state Atty General caved. They are pathetic.

Linda all I can say is this shows how little these jerks care about kids. They need homes and now people are being told no for stupid reasons. The gop=tea baggers are for life, but the problem is that it is only when the child is in the womb, and once it come into the world of gop=tea baggers who then tell that same child do for yourself kid you now can pull youself by your bootstraps. I cant believe they scream SMALL GOVERNMENT, but they add the most restrictive laws and regulations on people while doing away with regulations for big business and banks. These people are just idiots. I agree that somebody from the south maybe needed by these idiots and the more radical they are the better off the gop=tea baggers feel they will do in the election. Not picking on good honest people of faith, but the more radical these people are in their faith the better. The gop=tea baggers want somebody to carry the radical religious right. These gop=tea baggers want haters and not people of good faith and good will towards others.

just my humble view
