Romney Endorsee: Rape Pregnancies 'Gift from God'
posted by Ed Staff | Wednesday, October 24, 2012

Republican Richard Mourdock is the latest to join the growing ranks in the war on women. Mourdock declared in a debate this week, "I came to realize life is that gift from God, even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape. It is something that God intended to happen."

Mitt Romney endorsed Richard Mourdock earlier this week.

According to the Republican Platform it would be illegal to prevent pregnancy with birth control & if you get pregnant by rape, the survivor of the rape must carry out that pregnancy or jail time?????.............so does the rapist get to keep the baby while the mother is in jail?

Good Point Eagle...............I will add according to the GOP Platform a woman who chooses to have a baby through In vitro fertilisation (IVO) can not because it would be illegal & she would face jail, but if she gets pregnant through rape she must have that baby by law or she goes to jail??????????............so let me get this straight: according to the GOP a woman who wants to have a baby can't with IVO, but if raped is forced to or jailtime?????..........talk about supporting the rapist to choose while taking away the woman's right to choose???

And to make matters worse, if that's possible, some States have laws allowing the rapist visitatuion rights, even while the the mother and baby are still in the hospital.

If men could get pregnant, this type BS would never even come up. And I still don't believe men should be trying to pass laws pertaining to womens health. Smaller Gov't. You bet. BS

Romney's doing it again. Not 2 nights ago, agreeing with the President on all kinds of foreign policy matters to appeal to swing voters.

Now he's back to appealing to the tea crazies.

The man is shameless!

Mitt Romney endorsed this weirdo just a few days ago. I have seen the ad tying Romney to Mourdork from the DNC. They should play this ad a hundred times a day until Nov. 6th. What woman, even Republican, would want this clown in the Senate?

Perhaps we can count on the heretical Senator Mourdock to author "The Defense of Incubus Act". Indiana is going to have to change their "In God We Trust" license plates if they elect this sociopathic phony believer. Talk about wolf in sheeps clothing.

I just can't believe this preoccupation with sex when they want as little government in their lives as possible. Yet, women should be more outraged that it's gone from trying to ban all abortion, contraception and now saying that rape isn't that traumatic so a woman must carry a fetus to term. What do they think rape is? It's often preceded or followed by verbal and physical abuse.

These fools like this Mourdock will never experience this, but women must WAKE UP!

No offense intended to men, but doesn't it seem odd that all of the folks spewing all this crap are all white men? Every single one of them. That is what prompted Joan Wash of Salon.com, to write a book titled. What Is Wrong with White People! It is as sad as can be that Lugar, who was a decent Republican was thrown out for the likes of Mourdock. I just hope that on election day, some of those Tea Party types like Bachmann, and many others, LOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BIGTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am shocked that the aspiring Senator Mourdock hasn't been struck by a gigantic bolt of lightning.
