With the unemployment rate below 8-percent, the Republicans need to say goodbye to one of their favorite talking points. Chris Kofinis joins Ed to discuss the difficult position the Republicans find themselves in. Watch it.
Hey Scotty Mac, Mitt said he would build the Keystone pipeline himself if he had to - so that's one job. I bet we all run out of gas before Mitt figures out how to use a pipe wrench.

The entire GOP job creation plan
Build the keystone pipeline
After that nothing
Forget that it does not bring to america oil independence as Lyin Ryan said, it brings in a lot more money to Canada and the corporations because they can get world market rates with this pipeline.
On top of that it does not only allow for this oil to go to our southern refineries, it also allows the oil to be shipped overseas.
all for about 1000 jobs at the max.

If this president had came along and bosted employment to 100%, middle class income 250,000.00 and ZERO proverity, ended all wars, finally brought a true and lasting peace in the middle east the gop=tea baggers and the idiots on the right media would say it was reagan's, bush 1's and bush2's policies and ideas that did all this stuff. The blame is now on this president for anything good or bad. They love to blame others then take the glory for all that they had nothing to do with that is good for all..
I just am sick of it these clowns they have not supported this president or this country from january 2009 to now. If the fools and haters of the right will vote for robme and ryean, while clutching their guns, bibles while waving the flags and consitution and saying they are for freedom for all citizens as long as they are white and christian. Not an insult to the good christians and good whites who really believe in equality and religous freedom..

Linda S., After about three minutes of praise for Obama, it was business as usual:

Karl Rove: "Important Policy Decisions Made Under Bush" Made Bin Laden's Death Possible. [Fox News, Hannity, 5/3/11, via Nexis]
Washington Times' Brett Decker: "Bin Laden's Death Is More Mr. Bush's Victory Than Mr. Obama's." [The Washington Times, 5/2/11]
Fox's Bolling: "Thank GWB For This Not BHO!" From a May 2 post on Fox Business host Eric Bolling's Twitter feed:

So.......Bush credited for getting Bin Laden??? Interesting. Here is a quote from his 10-13-04 press conference when asked about Bin Laden------"Frankly I don't know where he is and I don't spend that much time thinking about him".

I agree with donnajoy. These Bots never let a talking point die. Gays, guns God, right to work, abortion, healthcare, wealthy tax breaks; toss in unemployment rate. Any number they don't want to hear is a lie. Don't forget they credited Bush in getting Bin Laden. Deficits don't matter when they are in office. Wars are taken off budget. The stock market drops 30 points, and they scream it's Obama policy. Never mind the fact that it's at all time highs to begin with. They run on jobs in the midterms and create how many bills now? I've lost track. If unemployment numbers went down on their watch? It would be gospel 24 and 7. Their entire goal has been to de-legitimize Barack's Presidency. They fkng live for it. The right has become such petty, obstructionist, lying, cry baby doom and gloomers, I'm not sure if they know who they themselves are anymore. It's become one big frothing at the mouth insult party of a President they call EVERY name in the book to disguise what they really want to call him in feeble attempts to mask their racism.

Jack Welcher knows how to cook the books. For many of the years that he was CEO Jack made GE look a lot better by putting in the retirement profits on the books for GE even when that money wasnt a part of GE's profit. Is logic he said was GE ran the plan even when none of the money was GE's and they couldnt touch it. So he knows cooking...
The people who do read and listen to what has happened in our congress the last years know the economy would have been better if the gop=tea baggers would have worked for the american people instead of the special interest and their wanting to make this a one term president. People on the right wont admit it and just point to the 8% number that they caused and blame this president when it was the actions that help keep it up that high. The gop=tea bagger voter who thinks romney will make this a better place are in for a total let down when they see the elite 1% take more and leave them behind.

Problem is that with the GOP, their talking points never die. They continue like a broken record and will even go back five years. Interesting how an old man who has become irrelevant decided to join the conspiracy game. I like Bob Shrum's idea of calling the group that are questioning the jobs numbers as Welchers. I guess if the Foxers feel that their ratings and jobs are at stake, they would say and do anything.
