Romney Laments Jet Windows That Don't Roll Down

Mitt Romney gave an interview to the Los Angeles Times yesterday, and was asked about the emergency landing his wife's plan was forced to make in Colorado.

"I appreciate the fact that she is on the ground, safe and sound. And I don’t think she knows just how worried some of us were,” Romney said.

When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly, there’s no — and you can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous. And she was choking and rubbing her eyes. Fortunately, there was enough oxygen for the pilot and copilot to make a safe landing in Denver. But she’s safe and sound.”

Sounds like Mitt has been flying with the windows open... he might be suffering from hypoxia.  Incredible.

Just when we thought they had found the dumbest of the dumb in dubya, whoo hoo, up comes this dim bulb. Under what kind of rocks do they find these dumbbells?

omg, Outsource One, good one miblue! You'd think he'd understand "pressurized environment" since he pretty much lives in one daily. But seriously Mitt, they had to wait for the trees to be the right height before they could open the windows.

I'm still trying to get over his "brown face" for the Univision rally. That turned out to be orange face, he should know that fake tan stuff doesn't work.

I'd love to know which one of his handlers said, hey Mitt, you wanna really get the Latino vote?? Let me put some of this stuff on your face, honest, they'll never know.................

I hear you ron. You wanna be careful and avoid an engine upon ejection. The more this guy talks, the dumber he sounds. It's bordering on early Alzheimer's. Heck, it worked for Ronnie. An Alzheimer President, Dubya, Romney....you see a pattern here? They don't want a smart guy in the Whitehouse. They want a chump who will ask how high? when they tell him to jump.

When I fly back east to see my grandkids I want to fly on a plane that has roll down windows so I can get some fresh air that is about -50 degrees and I just like the idea that I can be sucked out of the plane at the same time to get that fresh air.

And if there is a fire on the plane Rob I just want to add oxygen to the fire as it will allow the fire to build and burn better so we can stay warm in the -50 air that will be rushing into the plane. Why do people believe a man that has no idea how the real world works, and dont forget this man knows there isnt climate warming. To him and his ilk are still believing that this planet is the center of the universe..

Can't roll down the windows on the Space Station, either.

This is what happens when Republicans try to control the content of science in the classroom.

I believe you don't want to feed a fire oxygen Mitt. Oh, and you may get sucked right out of the plane too.

The windows don't roll down? What?? Is this some kind of FAA regulation? This is just more government intrusion. If people get warm, they should be able to open a window if they want to. So what if it's 35,000 feet? I'll bet you won't find any thing about airplane windows in the U. S. Constitution. Said every Republican...

Hey Mitt - try kicking out the window on the campaign jet Out Source One if the problem pops up again.

Yeah Mitten, the windows in the airplane "do not open ............ and you say, "It's a real problem". I'll let some engineer friends know about that. Maybe they can design some individual handles for each window? That way if you need a refill when you're at 30,000 feet you can open them up and stick your head out. Wave Hi to Seamus if he's strapped to the top?
