Seniors Dislike Romney's 47 Percent Comments
posted by Ed Staff | Friday, September 21, 2012

The Obama campaign is out with a new video highlighting how seniors feel about Mitt Romney's comments on the 47 percent. Apparently Romney didn't give too much thought to how our seniors would feel, especially those who live on untaxed Social Security income and thereby fall into the 47 percent category that Mitt Romney considers freeloaders.

Mitt Romney's Rant against the 47% verifies the Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan GOP attack on the middle class & attacking those struggling to make it to the middle class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW - Mitt must think with are stupid freeloaders to believe his latest tax record stunt with his 2011 returns. Everybody knows the slime ball is going to file an amended return after the election he is desperately trying to lose - even if by some miracle he wins. It would be impossible for somebody as greedy and money hungry as Mitt to not eventually declare the full $4M in charitable deductions instead of just declaring $2.5M of it. Yeah it would lower his effective tax rate to sub-embarassing levels and result in an additional refund of $225k at the capital gains rate to supplement his paltry presidential salary of $450,000. How could he possibly survive? In fact, I'll bet Mitt $10,000 he can't let the refiling deadline pass without having his tax advisors submit amended 2011 returns for the extra cash. I mean, get real, the money could help pay for his car elevator or psychological therapy for the dancing mule he entered in the Olympics that placed 36th.

Mitt forgot to mention that the 47% he is trashing & saying they won't vote for him anyway...........well the GOP is targeting that demographic with obstruction making it difficult to vote through obstacles such as voter suppression laws...............

I paid for my social security and medicare for 47 years and I am ------- entitled to it as agreed to when they deducted it from my 2000+ paychecks. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are idiots if they think they will get away with their lies about privatizing both. Anybody under the age of 55 that thinks Mitt and Paul have a good idea should get your head screwed on straight and think differently.

Time to clean house of the GOP Kochroaches that believe the Heritage Foundation and Kato Institute fraudulent "studies" by professors without conscience - and a new Lexus. Make it emphatic and vote straight Democratic!

The biggest ENTITLEMENT of all of this whole ugly scenario is that the Romney's think they are ENTITLED to reside in the White House yet have shown not one reason why. And 'because it's our turn" just doesn't cut it.

Between his out of touch mentality and sense of superiority and her attack dog snarkiness and "you people" attitude I shudder to think what would happen to this country if those two were given that kind of power.

He's already even trying to concede the debates. He has given the American people no reason whatsoever to vote for him. Until he revealed his true self, most were willing to pull the lever for "not Obama". But he has shocked people into reality with his 47 percent solution. He even shocked Karl Rove and I didn't think that was even possible.

In all my years watching Presidential politics I don't think I have ever seen a more pathetic candidate. The VP pick will not help either. He too has no real plan or vision for the country.

This election is going to define the Presidency and Americans will for the first time in a long time be faced with the question of What Do We Want in a President? There are acceptable levels of behavior for both Presidents and First Ladies and the Romney's have deemed themselves both completely ineligible in my book.

I like the comments. There have been many, many people with money who were out there helping others and relating to everyone. Some big names come to mind, the Kennedy's, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Bruce Springsteen. All these folks, and many others gave of themselves, and didn't let any money they accumlated, get in the way. Are they perfect? No! But then who is! You are what you are, inside, sometimes money changes a person, and sometimes it doesn't, that depends upon, whether, or not, you let it change you. Mitt Romney doesn't have the same kind of personality, or charactaristics that the above mentioned people do, and that is that.

I don't hate Romney, but I don't like him because it is plain and simple what he is and how he views himself, and how he has lived his life, and how he views his wealth, and how he veiws people that he and Ann think are beneath them. Ann also thinks that she is above everyone else, and that they deserve some things, namely the White House. She doesn't get it. There are some things that you have to earn, and one of them is the trust of all of the people, if you want to be, like,- President. Ann Romney acts like a queen who just cannot help herself from comments that belittle everyone around, and make her seem so special, and above all. Its all because they like their money, and don't care about anything else. So, in their cases, money has taken over their entire personality.

What really bothers me, is that, Romney, could indeed win, and the two of them could actually end up in the White House!

You might have worked & saved your entire life & some life changing event happened like getting cancer or losing a spouse of sick child........loss of a job...............well Mitt thinks you are a SECOND CLASS Citizen who feels entitled...........Mitt looks down on you & doesn't have any interest in providing a foundation where you can work your way back up...........Mitt has no interest in being your President or representing you............he sees you as a parasite on society........a burden.........
Mr. Fargo

If you fought for your country, worked hard your entire life & never got rich or retired or became disabled, or you are attending college or were born with a disability or later in life., or fell on hard times, or are a single parent or working a low paying job while supporting a family or were a stay at home mom or dad now living on a fixed income or social security.......or.....etc.....................well Mitt Romney thinks you are a SECOND CLASS CITIZEN who is a burden on society.............Mitt looks down on you & has zero interest in governing for you...................Mitt doesn't value you or think you count it Mitts World or in Mitt's vision of the USA...............

ROMNEY/RYAN will TAKE AWAY from YOU!

Mitt Romney & Paul Ryan will TAKE AWAY what you paid into Medicare & give it to Wall Street & BIG INSURANCE....while leaving you at their Mercy when you are old & facing health care issues..............while TAKING AWAY your SOCIAL SECURITY & gambling it away at the WALL STREET CASINO............and then when you are elderly needing MEDICAID the most..........they are TAKING THAT AWAY too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so they can give that money to BIG SHOTS through tax breaks..........as if paying 9% isn't low enough for the richest of the rich......Romney/Ryan want the BIG SHOT rate to be zero or even have the tax system pay them!!!!!!

"Due to a medical condition, it's hard for me to speak clearly, so I can't leave a testimonial over the phone. But even if I can't enter your contest, I would like to tell you my story because I love this product so much. A friend of mine passed on to me an old Lazy Boy recliner that someone offered her. She picked it up, sight unseen, and brought it to my house. While the chair was still as sturdy as ever, the dusty pink upholstery was quite stained and dirty from years of use and a decade of storage. Of course I grabbed my 3-to-1 bottle of Bio Green Clean and started spraying the worst spots, seat first. And it looked horrible! The seat suddenly had different colored circular rings all over it, and we were horrified. I began to panic. But then I realized that the color was different because the sprayed parts had actually come clean and bright immediately on contact with the Bio Green Clean! So we sprayed the whole chair from top to bottom and scrubbed the dirtier areas a bit with a cloth covered sponge. Then we rinsed, using my friend's little green deep cleaning machine, and wow! we had a "new" chair! The difference was astonishing, no rings, no spots, just a brighter, pinker and very respectable looking chair, all with just Bio Green Clean and water. And of course there was no leftover chemical smell or residue! What a winner this product is, its uses are endless, and for anyone with health issues, this is very important. Thank you again and again for your wonderful Bio Green Clean. "
