Proving once again the Mitt Romney needs an "Easy" button to answer questions, the former Massachusetts Governor gave an interesting answer to George Stephanopoulos who asked what constitutes middle income. According to Mitt, people making two hundred and two hundred fifty thousand dollars per year are 'middle income.' Watch it.

Unlike Sarah Palin, Romney can't even see the middle class from his front porch.

Linda S. sad to say most the people who vote for these clowns just want the muslum, socialist, black rag out of office and dont care a thing about anything else. When I have tried to talk about the economy and how the gop=tea baggers have held up all the bills that would have helped they just stare and say it is obamacare and his policy failures that caused us to fail. OMG they cant deal in facts. One guy sent a thing saying stopping the keystone pipeline caused gas to go to 4.00 per gal. When I replied about the fact no jobs, no american steel, and 80 percent of the oil sent to europe and asia, and quoted foxie snooze saying no president can control prices he came back and said it was still obama's fault for hight prices. I have more or less given up on the idiots as the wont believe the facts.

Romney and Ryan havent one idea of what the middle class is. Heard ryan saying in FL. it was people like obama and other politicians on the left that spent their lifes in

DC that cause everything that is wrong. I guess most of his life spent in the public sector doesnt count. The debates will be great to see and I hope they dont just kiss romney's butt with softball questions...

Mitt and his Midget Ryan both need to file for intellectual bankruptcy! And Mitt would find a way to deduct it from his taxes that he already doesn't pay.

His own party called him a "disaster", which is right on the money, pardon the pun. He is clueless politically, in foreign policy, and in matters of the economy.

They came out with a "budget" that they said they didn't run the numbers on. They think they are qualified to run women's lives. They keep trying to play the religion card and brand the President "anti God". Yet Ryan worshipped an Aetheist for most of his life. And the leader of Romney's religion was rumored to be high on mushroom power when he came up with his "doctrine". They baptize dead people. Caffeine is more an offense to God than greed in their neck of the woods.

How are they pedalling this pack of hogwash to so many Americans??

Mr. Smith also noted that Germany has been utilizing this concept to grow their economy and it is working extremely well as are a number of other economies. They are taking care of their workers while our corporations are outsourcing jobs, and hiding money in overseas bank accounts.

The next time these corporate A.H's or politicians try to tell you that unions, regulations and taxes are killing their business, ask them why their profits are at an alltime high but the American economy is STILL in the TOILET!!!

The corporations have been doing the following with their profits----paying lobbyists who then pay off politicians, making sure their stockholders are taken care of, allowing CEO's to continue to receive obscene bonuses every year, funnelling millions into Citizens United PACs to pay for ads full of lies about the economy, getting huge tax breaks to outsource jobs overseas, hiding money in overseas bank accounts, and colluding with Wall Street in all manner of financial crimes and getting away with them!

All while at the same time whining to no end about taxes, regulations, and how those union boogiemen are ruining their businesses. And then-------------taking huge bailouts from the same government that they say is killing them with taxes and regulations.

The plans that Romney and Ryan propose make NO sense at all. Why would the so-called "job creators" create more jobs if there is NO demand for what they sell or manufacture? Don't you have to have demand first? How can Mitt say he wants to help the middle class when he does not even know the financial parameters for this sector of the population? While people on both sides of the political spectrum continue to say that they consider Mitt an intelligent man, I question such because as I hear him speak more and more I wonder if that is really true. Mitt continually makes some illogical statements. Maybe it is just as President Obama said "Mitt shoots first and then aims."

Can't wait for them to ask him in the debates how he arrived at $200,000 being a middle class income. It isn't even in the ballpark.

Hedrick Smith, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist just wrote a book called "Who Stole The American Dream?". This guy explained in very simple terms what is wrong with our economy. He could school Romney and a few others. He isn't even an expert in anything. But what he IS, that Romney and Ryan are NOT is intellectually curious enough to research and come up with some answers and a real plan. And he isn't even running for office.

The American economy is driven by the middle class and their earning power or lack thereof. He looked at the stats from 1978 to 2011. The middle class has had ZERO GROWTH in earnings since 1978!!! While the upper class has experienced phenomenal growth and corporations are reporting record profits. He said that the American economy up to 1978 was experiencing phenomenal growth. Ed has shown this same concept repeatedly on his nightly show. You'd think some of it would have sunk in.

What the corporations have done with their phenomenal profits and tax cuts is to sit on their money, pay their CEO's obscene bonuses, and virtually ignore workers while at the same time trying to bust unions as the killer of the American economy. Ask yourself this question, how did Americans get all those raises and earning power back then??? Did the corporations willingly give those up?? Are you kidding?? Were it not for the unions the middle class would have ceased to exist decades ago.

All the tax cuts in the world will not fix this economy, STUPID Republicans!! It's time average Americans got a raise! Why do you think those teachers in Chicago went on strike? Stop demonizing workers and unions. WE BUILT THIS COUNTRY!!

Well just looked up with the median income is for america. It is about 52,000.00 and I couldnt really find anything that agreed on what the middle class income is as it jumps all over the place, but was no where the 200K to 250K the 1/4 billionaire said it was. If it was that amont I couldnt even afford the cardboad box that Rob Oregon can afford. The people like him is so out of touch with the real world it isnt even funny anymore. I was talking about this subject the other day and without my going out on fires I would be in the lower of the lowest proverty level from the time I retired. This man is saying lets look at those evil entitlements and then screw all the average joes and janes by doing away with deductions like home mortage, child dedcutions, state taxes, and add taxes like what your company pays for group insurance. When this man and the other stooges get done I will be living even without the cardboard box. The gop=tea baggers are just for the wealthy and corporations and nothing eles and the people who follow them are just idiots, and they are just like sheep heading for the butcher shop.. we are screwed if these men and women take power as we will be like the third world countries we now send aid to.

If Romney/Ryan get their way.........they will hand over Medicare, Medicaid & Social Security to the Wall Street Wolves who will then gamble it away.......and if the economy crashes like it did under the last Republican President.............you can kiss your Medicare, Medicaid & Social Security goodbye for good....for ever........doesn't affect anyone who is currently 55 or older my A$$..................if the last Republican President would have got his way and privatized Social Security on Wall Street...........just think of what would have happened when the GOP crashed the economy?...........we would no longer have social security!.......the program would not exist..........you paid into it your entire life........gone, gone, gone.........the Radical Republican Party want to take it away from you & hand it over to Wall Street...... it is their secret plan to END the BIG THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Mitt.......YOU Can't run against something & stand for nothing:

Mitt Romney only stands for: Tax Cuts for Millionaires/Billionaires, Deregulation & Corporations are People My Friend while destroying Medicare, Medicaid & Social Security...........beyond that Mitt stands for nothing, but he is against the Middle Class & Small business, against the worker & against fair Labor, against keeping his money in the USA economy.............Mitt is running his campaign by being against all the good President Obama is doing for our country while Mitt stands for nothing.............good luck with that Mitt?????
Mr. Fargo

When President Obama gets reelected it will be the Republican Party's Waterloo........there is no way the GOP can survive 4 years of not governing while sabotaging & obstructing the economic recovery & come out a loser in 2012........the plan to obstruct, sabotage along with suppressing the vote is an all or nothing strategy; I predict it will backfire & politically blow up in their GOP faces........it will put the Republican party is complete disarray & you will see "every man of himself"........what I mean by that is you will see a divided party of Tea Crazies, moderates trying to politically survive their very own attacks through Citizens United Money in the primaries.............look at all the Corporate Investment in a GOP losing cause.........cut your losses boys...........
