Romney Calls Ryan's Vote on Defense Cuts 'Big Mistake'

Last year, Republicans and Democrats came to an agreement on automatic spending cuts to defense and social programs which would go into effect if they were unable to come to an agreement on the debt. Paul Ryan, along with other Republicans, voted for the deal, defense cuts included.

Now Mitt Romney is saying it was a big mistake. "I thought it was a mistake on the part of the White House to propose it. I think it was a mistake for Republicans to go along with it," Romney said.

If my memory serves me correctly, Mr. Robme, that vote last year, in Congress, resulted from disputes over what to do with the deficit, and since time was running out in the debt limit fight, they had to do something. The Republikkkcans didn't want to give up their sacred cow- the Bush tax cuts for the rich, and defense cuts, but they had to reach some kind of an agreement, with the Democrats. Each side gave in and was willing to give up a little bit of their sacred cow-Democrats, some small cuts to some programs, and the GOP-ERS, some military spending, cuts, as well. So, what are you implying Robme- are you saying that Ryan made a mistake, and should have voted for getting rid of the Buh tax cuts for the rich, instead?

I am not suprised, at all with what Robme is saying now. The, silly, and Lying season is in full swing now, after the conventions. Say, Robme you aren't very bright are you?

Boy, I would like to go back to New York, to punch that David Gergen, CNN's Republican political analyst in the nose, for all the lies, coming out of his mouth right now! They are deliberately, trying to pit Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama against each other with outrageous lies. Isn't that right? Newt??

How about, I start a lie, saying, that Paul Ryan, is having an affair with Bill-O, from Foxie-Newsie! That is how bad these people sound. Despicable, people.!!

Is it just me, or does RYAN look like he righteously on the defensive all of the time. I find this part of his character totally annoying.

Lets cut social security, medicare, medicade,THE VA, and other safety nets for the average american while we give the big corporations who serve the military more. The joint chiefs said the cuts are not going to hurt the military and will get rid of programs that they dont want and that the military dosent need. What is wrong with that idea, but with the gop=tea baggers say the evil social programs are the cause of the debt and we need to make these people pull them up by the boot straps. There is one basic problem with this idea as that the gop=tea baggers have taken away our boots and we dont have boot straps to pull ourselves up with. I am as many know a volunteer fire fighter and at age 67 I go on strike teams to earn extra money during fire season. We have other ritirees who do the same just so we can make the extra money to get us by for another year. If these clowns had their way we would be working 7 days a week and getting no pensions. Just work until you die and if you cant continue working please die quickly...

just my humble view

Oh no we can't cut defense. Otherwise we won't beat the Russians, our number one enemy.

Romney is so full of himself. The Defense Department has said that it has no problem with cutting the waste and fraud from its budget. What law has the President violated? Has Romney really sat down and reviewed the Defense Budget or has he relied on his advisers who are from the Bush Administration? As I listen to Mitt, I wonder what his grades were at Harvard because he makes NO sense at all.
