LISTEN: Romney-Ryan Break Out The Robocalls
posted by Ed Staff | Tuesday, September 04, 2012

The Romney/Ryan campaign has broken out the robocalls, and this one is a doozy.

Some think Obamacare is the same as free health care, but nothing is free. Obama is raiding $716 billion dollars from Medicare, changing the program forever... taxing wheel chairs and pacemakers, raising taxes on families making less than $120,000. Free health care comes at a very high price. The Romney-Ryan plan will restore Medicare funding, and protect and strengthen the program for the next generation.

Note the use of the expression "free healthcare," and the failure to mention that even though 716-billion dollars in savings have been found in Medicare, benefits have not and will not be cut. Listen.

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit. I'm looking forward to the debates. We all know Romney's incredible ineptness in that arena. Nowhere to run to baby, nowhere to hide.

"Romney-Ryan plan will restore Medicare funding, and protect and strengthen the program for the next generation."

The 716B was not cut from the program but rerouted inside Medicare to cover other services. The funds were a republican temporary subsidy to providers to encourage competition from private insurers to compete with Medicare in the Medicare Advantage program in an effort to drive costs down. Obama stopped the temporary funding from going directly to providers as incentive pay. Instead, he will use it to pay for closing the donut hole for senior drug costs and other senior services. THAT IS NOT CUTTING MEDICARE benefits to seniors or providers. The 716B still goes to providers but now they have to earn it. THAT IS CALLED MANAGING MEDICARE BETTER.

Ayn Ryan and his stupid sidekick Romney want to “restore Medicare funding” to providers for doing nothing and “protect and strengthen the program for the next generation" means they want to give you a voucher for your health insurance and you purchase it on the open market if you can get it for the meager amount of the voucher.

Their strategy is to speak their lies over and over and it has been shown to be successful for them, but it’s not going to get them the Whitehouse. They are TOAST. If there was any doubt, it will be gone by the end of this week.

I hope they pick a GREAT SONG for Thursday! Music is the DOCTOR!!!!!

I forgot to add, that the woman from Arizona with the sick-daughter, and heart problems, was instramental in the argument of why we need to keep the Affordable Health Care Act. She told it like it is, and helps put a damper in the liars of the other side of the aisle, who want to get rid of the thing. She spoke for all of those thousands, and maybe millions, out there, who are in a similar situation, such as hers, and she did it very well! Great job done by all!!!!!

I am going to post my convention thoughts. It was a good first day.

Lilly Ledbetter started it all off touting one of the first things that Obama signed into to law as President, the Lilly Ledbetter Act! Nancy Keenan from Naral-Pro-Choice- was superb in spelling out what is at stake for women, in big words. Governor of Ma-Deval Patrick was superb, and so was Julian Castro, the Mayor of San Antonio Texas, in different ways but using their individuals life stories, plus life experiences, to get their message across to voters, and to praise the accomplishments of the President. Rahm Emanuel was good tonight, talking about what Democrats believe, and about his good friend, the President! There were a few little knicks, and jabs at the opposition, but was mostly positive.

It was all good upbeat. The big one of the night came from Michelle Obama, she told it all right from the heart, where it needs to be and laid some things on the line, and hit 10 home runs, in telling us why we need to keep her husband in there! She told America some more great things about Barack that we probably do not know, and we will wait and see if it works over the next few months, getting people energized. I am looking forward to tomorrow, as well.

So tonight in Colorado we were treated to a newly resurected republicon lie.The Canadian who had to come to the United States to have a life saving operation because she would die while wating for it in Canada. Karl Rove's superpac has brought back a lie I thought was long dead. Will Americans ever wake up? Step aside hatemongers, Democrats are back!

TAX THE RICH and call out the lies and the liars.

"Romney-Ryan plan will restore Medicare funding, and protect and strengthen the program for the next generation."

Will this be the biggest lie that the Romney/Ryan campaign tells? Or will the ads and robocalls focus on as many as they can come up with? They are setting a record for the most lies in a single political campaign. I guess when you have so much money, don't know what to do with it and are desperate, you make up the lies as you go along. This group risks becoming more and more irrelevant as a political party and more like a cult if these tactics continue. The lack of integrity and honesty, may in time take down this group of conservatives without consciences.

The romney/ryan team is a team of liars. They say seniors are not paying for or have paid into medicare. For me I have paid into it from the first day the started taking out for it from my pay checks. I pay now for it and I pay for the other insurance for the things that isnt covered by medicare, plus eye and dental so we seniors are paying our way the these clowns are making it we are reagan's welfare queens. You know the seniors are the biggest drain on the government.

Mr. Fargo I saw the hank's idiot remarks, and I grew up in a family that listened to his father and I think his dad would have been ashamed with him just saying stuff like this is hate and unamerican. It is alright to disagree with any president or political party, but when come to remarks like this this isnt disagreement anymore but just plain hate.

These GOP-ERS don't know the difference between the truth and lies. They honestly think that lies will work for them, and I say good luck with that. They are just afraid of losing the white majority, and it scares the crap out of them all. Sandra Fluke has more intelligence, and class in her little finger than Slimebaugh, and Bill-0 have in their entire body. She may be in the public spotlight because of Slimebaugh, but that woman is going to do alot of good things during her life. She is only 30, for Gods sake. She is a lawyer now, and smarter than too many people who are out there shooting their sad mouths off. The democrats, and the President will I hope convey a positive message, and concentrate on all the good things that have happened in the last four years, like-The Stock Market going back a up and staying there, or over 22 months of solid job growth, or GM is alive and thriving and is up 12% over last month, and so are FORD, and Chrysller, up also, the stimillus worked, although it wasn't big enough, healthcare was a good thing.

The President needs to tell the country how he will in his second term, by-pass the do-nothings, and the I don't give a damns, and get some more very good things done for the country. Hopefully, education, and mass transit, and green technology will be a big part of it.
