Mitt Romney has a new race-based dog whistle attack on welfare to work requirements. Never one to let the truth stand in the way of a good, bold-faced lie, Romney continues to claim President Obama has gutted welfare-to-work requirements, and now says President Obama did it to 'shore up his base.' This is racial code. Watch it.
Dog whistle line from Chris Cristie last night at the convention..."....it doesn't matter how we got here".....only reference to George W. Bush~

Living in a swing state, we are bombarded with ads. The welfare and medicare lies play all the time. I can only hope the people in Colorado are as smart as they were in 2008. Would love to see Coffman booted out also. He's become an extemist, what a shame to realize he's a racist after all.
TAX THE RICH and vote Obama/Biden, 2012!

Romney is very accomplished at taking his own negative stance, and projecting it upon others as if it were THEIR fault!
If he were to get elected, he would use the same smokescreen to create a distraction while he robs the working class once and for all.
Only a damned fool would vote for Romney.
Thing is there are a lot of fools.

I have been running into some real hardcore right wingers on the MSNBC blog and have spent little time here lately. The right wingers over on the TV ED Show blog get real defensive about the Congressman Akin's comments about splitting hairs about rape. I tell the right wingers that I support a women's right to an abortion plus insurance companies need to pay for birth control, family planning, and other reproductive health services for women. I point out that most western European countries have family planning, birth control, and abortion services paid for by the government. Women in the military served right beside the men for the whole 20 years I was in. Women veterans can get birth control from the military medical system. I have often thought that this should be the same for all women and girls in the United States. Starting at some age say 7th grade, girls that need family planning or birth control programs should be able to go to a nurse and get taken care of. Right wingers think this is just a terrible suggestion. But I point out that one out of three American women will have an abortion in her life. Nearly, 100% of American women will use birth control at sometime in their life. Right wingers don't want the government paying for these types of birth control services for women but then they get upset if their taxes get raised for welfare for unwed mothers, at least $10,000 annually to educate the child, Food Stamps/SNAP, or if the child is raised in lower socioeconomic conditions and is far likelier to become an adult inmate it costs $50,000 per year to incarcerate him. Family planning, birth control, and abortion services if applied broadly all across America aggressively could make teenage pregnancy virtually a thing of the past. I always thought girls were supposed to graduate from high school and go on to college instead of becoming single moms at 15?
I remember a conversation with a college age women who worked in an abortion clinic about 25 years ago. The woman said you can not believe the number of 13 to 15 year old girls who get pregnant from incest and rape. She said in just about every community with couple thousand people you could expect a case nearly every year. I will admit this is not scientific research just anecdotal observations. Socioeconomic background and educational levels of the household seem not to matter either those 13-15 year old girls just got pregnant regardless. For those hard core right wingers that don't believe in paying for family planning and birth control with tax money what are these 13-15 year old rape and incest victims supposed to do? Statutory rape is also huge business for these abortion clinics with 13-16 year old girls who go out with 18 to 20 year old guys sometimes especially if they own cars. I go back to my original question: Are these girls this age supposed to pay for their abortion, family planning, and birth control programs all by themselves? How many girls this age willingly choose to be victims of rape, incest, or even statutory rape? The right wingers have no rational answers for these questions because you are dealing with irrational idiots. We see this irrationality in the Romney/Ryan GOP platform of no allowances for rape, incest, or life of the mother for abortion coverage because the Romney/Ryan ticket are idiots about this issue too.

We see this sort of race baiting dog whistle behavior from Romney/Ryan over and over again. Lawrence's "Last Word" last night had a good observation. The Romney/Ryan campaign could well be one of the last major campaigns that tries the GOP strategy of 50.1% of the vote. I am not sure that there are enough angry old white people to push Romney/Ryan over the 270 electoral finish line. I think this whole campaign is about the most amateur campaign I have seen in my adult life. It would be really nice if we could understand what Romney/Ryan stands for other than $5 trillion in cuts over the next decade, the destruction of Medicare, and more tax cuts for the rich while making the Bush tax cuts permanent and increasing military spending! On the MSNBC blog for Ed I have started comparing the Romney/Ryan budget plan to a flaming suicidal kamikaze run over Okinawa during WW II. If the Romney/Ryan ticket loses in November, it will simply mean a suicidal kamikaze run for the Tea Party/GOP. If the Romney/Ryan ticket wins in November it will be a suicidal kamikaze run that takes out the whole middle class. If you have a more eloquent analogy let me know.

Romney dug is Mitts into the Wallets & Paychecks of the Middle Class again:
Ohio Mine workers feared getting fired so they were force to go to Mitt Romney campaign event for a photo op with Mitt Romney.......and they lost a day's worth of pay..........that might not be much to Mitt, but losing a days worth of pay might be the difference between making the rent of not making the rent..........

A majority of the media does a very sloppy job challenging the multiple lies......it is so disgusting to watch the Sunday talk show hosts allow their show to be used as a platform for Republicans to spread the lies unchallenged or weakly challenged..........then the local media replays the lies........might want to change the name of Meet the Press to Lie to the Press unchallenged & Change the name of Face the Nation......to Laugh at & Lie to the Nation.........and the FOX SHOW........well it is FAUX.......is the media more worried about ratings or journalism????

I wonder if he, Romney, ever stops to think how he is going to govern if he wins the presidency? A win based on bald-faced lies will be a hollow victory. Of course, all he cares about is winning; the truth be damned.
