Mr. Fargo, we have our work cut out for us on that. I am on an assignment in northern Nevada, a.k.a. Teabaggerville. All they know how to do is repeat Fox Noise verbatim. Facts don't mean a thing to them.

Every time Romney/Ryan Lie we just need to repeat the truth over & over & call them out as liars over & over & over............we just need to fix their lie with the truth 10 to 1

The GOP strategy is to lie, repeat the lie........until the FOX NEWS crowd believes it.

Glad to hear back from you all. Romney's whiteboard is the oldest insurance sales "closing" technique in the biz - it is called the "Ben Franklin Closing."

The glaring problem in his closing, is that he is using false and misleading information. Any great saleman will tell you - don't ever lie to your customers. The customers in this case are you and me. Romney broke the first rule with these fabrications.

When you lie, Mr. Romney, you lose customers. How would any customer (voter) trust you in the future.

Mr. Romney, Mr. Ryan you have violated my trust in your words. How can I believe anything else you will say? Actually, I can't!

Simple math. There is $718B in Medicare waste, fraud, and abuse that is given to insurance and health care corporations. Candidate #1 takes this money away from the insurance and health care corporations and gives it to Medicare beneficiaries that have paid in for 47 years in the form of $718B in improved health care and benefits. Candidate #2 wants to keep providing waste, fraud, and abuse to the insurance and health care conglomerates with NO CHANGE (?) in Medicare benefits for older citizens only. Then in a complete act of economic foolishness candidate #2 gives the highest paid citizens, like himself, a tax break to lower their taxes to 1%, like his, by borrowing money from China, driving up the national debt by trillions(with a T), and paying them back with the future taxes from the lower globally competitive wages of younger citizens. The "next gen" will be rewarded with ill-defined GOP Don'tCare for seniors - uninsurance for all. If these 2 clowns make it the White House 98% of the people are going to get a bitter, bitter lesson by a master at rewarding himself at the expense of everybody else.

Slaw Dogg, I agree. Romney is as vague as they come. Speak in broad generalities, fudge the numbers. I really think his intellect is overrated. I dare say, he almost makes Bush look smart. These clowns have no "plan" other than to siphon money from the middle into the wealthy pocket, just like they did under Bush. They talk of wealth re-distribution? They pulled off one of the largest wealth redistributions in history under Shrub. Our pocket into their pocket. That's what they do, and they are going to finish the job if they own the Whitehouse, Congress, and the the House. You can bet they'll be passing bills then, belt tightening bills for the middle. Then you have squirrely eyed Ryan claiming the Dems only care about the next election, not the next generation? Give me a break. The next generation won't have two nickels to rub together after they get done subsidizing the wealthy their whole lives.

Thank you Slaw for writing out specifically that without 55- , the 55+ would become insolvent. i assume there would be a new 'senior medicaide' for the 55+...would that mean anyone 55+ would be restricted to having assets to no greater than $2000 to get the new 'senior medicade' , that was the former medicare to cover their medical costs? Now seniors don't have to divest of their assets until they want the state to cover the cost of nursing home care. With Romney's plan they might have to start divesting at 65-67 depending on health.

Thanks for pointing it out, this stuff is so complicated, at times a person has to lead the way for simplifying a concept enough for a person to pass it along.

Without the 55- the 55+ will become insolvent!

PS there is a risk that eventually medicare will be replaced by ACA - for-all--- ACA is not single payer, which would be better. But there are things in ACA that are better than Medicare. ACA operates on a base of regulated insurance companies, like switzerland. ACA defines Maximum Out of Pocket Costs by income level of the insured, NOT the OOP of the insurance policy....medicare part D does not take into account a persons income level. So actually ACA for all would be better for lower income seniors.

Medicare Part D OOP is $4700(for all income levels), at my income level in ACA it would be $1000-1500.

Medicare/Medicaide was not designed as a health insurance system.it was an employment benefit, it was pieced together as it became important to address a need....+disability,+portability,+meds,+lower income children

ACA was designed to address needs from the start, not peicemeal by chance.

Romney and the rest of the GOP think that people are stupid. Fortunately this is not true for the people who are not getting their news from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. He and his wife continue to talk down to us and that is extremely insulting. Seniors are already receiving benefits from the provisions that President Obama has implemented through the ACA so it is a much harder sell for Romney.

Romney is like the WORST insurance salesman ever!

First off, He doesn't mention the Voucher replacement program - even though we KNOW that is his program.

Secondly, he must think most people are fools that don't know what he is up to.

Thirdly, he does not mention that if you cut out the 55 and under from the Medicare program, it will crash and burn IMHO in less than 2 years, along with ALL of social security under his tutalage.

Finallym do ROMNEY or RYAN give a damn? NO. They got theirs.
