Mitt Romney spoke during the 2002 Olympics and gave a speech which hit on the same points President Obama made in a speech two weeks ago -- the point that those who have reached the summit in their chosen endeavor didn't get there on their own. Evidently it's OK to say that about athletes if you're a Republican, but not OK to say it about successful entrepreneurs if you're a Democrat. Watch it.
Thanks Ron. I understand better when i state the effects Ryan Budget will have. My family member made it sound as if being legally responsible for elderly parents was going to be written into the law, like being legally responsible for the actions of your children already is.
My family member was just describing the consequence of the budget....UGHH its so frustrating, that human empathy has been lost by 50% of the population who really doen't give a SH$#*. The other 50% unfortunately gives a SH$#* and can see where it will lead too. Unfortunately we are the 50% who can see, more stressful to see it coming.

blueb I tried to find some thing on this and found that if ryan's plan passes then with the cuts to medicade and medicare will cut and change the money to seniors, and to seniors who are now in care homes will need more money to pay for it and when they had used up their money and then the family needs to either bring them into their homes or pay for the care at the home. My wife's mom is now in a care home and she fell and is the hospital and she is running low on funds and what will happen as my wife and her sisters cant afford to pay or have the ablity to have her in our homes. We are all retired and not millionaires. She has to have a drug to keep her from losing it. How does ryan think my wife and I can afford to care for her and pay for her drugs and have somebody come in an care for her.

FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE CAME BACK FROM A PROGRESSIVE CONFERENCE AND HE REPORTED THAT HE WAS TOLD THAT IN THE RYAN BUDGET TO ELIMINATE MEDICARE COSTS,.A SENIOR WHO NEEDS TO GO INTO A NURSING HOME AFTER THEIR ASSETS HAVE BEEN USED UP, CAN NO LONGER PAY FOR THE COST, THE CHILDREN ARE NOW RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COSTS. MEDICAID WILL GO AFTER THE CHILDREN OF THE SENIOR AS THE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE PERSON FOR AN ELDERLY PARENTS CARE..

When President Obama said they didn't build "that"......he was specifically saying roads, bridges, infrastructure & etc.............the word "that" specifically referred to the words "roads & bridges" in the previous sentence........................the word "that" didn't refer to the word business...........................MItt you might want to go back & take some English & Grammar classes because you would fail a skills test based on reading a paragraph & answering questions about it..............remember those Iowa Basic Skills Tests? How would Romney do?

Looks like the Mormon church is into big business like the Jesus plus nothing crowd that Jeff Sharlet wrote about (The Family.) I thought we might be safe because the evangelicals I know don't think Mormons are Christians (they're not in the traditional sense.) But, when it comes to Money Almighty, and Power Almighty, I guess the Mormon Jesus and the Christian Jesus can find common ground.
TAX THE RICH, something the real Jesus would do.

Romney's group is a powerful sect, and their goals are quite restrictive upon the freedoms that Americans enjoy. Romney is the centerpiece to their masterplan. I can assure you that it is conservative, yet it is not republican, nor beholden to the constitution of the US. That part will probably irk a lot of gun-toting lower middle class male republicans. Romney's group is all about the elite in their clan. We, the rest of the US population are indiginous people to them - the necessasary evil. We consume what they create. They will continue to pressure the middle class into a servant class - similar to the larger part of the Mexican population. A new caste defining us as the great unwashed.
A vote for Romney is for the demolition of the middle class, and the rise of a new elite class.

SlawDogg...you did get me to thinking....so i went digging for some facts.....Now I want to know if the LDS (the elite mormon culture) is attempting to get even with OUR government by running Romney for president.
The U.S. government confiscated the LDS property under the Edmunds-Tucker Act in 1887, the elite mormon culture fell into debt because OUR government seized their tithing money and all their assets. The morman elite were $2.3 million in debt. Along came a new mormon elite president Lorenzo Snow who had a revelation to raise their tithing to 10% of income and by 1907 the mormon elite culture was out of debt. And boy are they growing!
