The city of Freeport, Illinois is in trouble. Sensata Technologies, a car sensor manufacturing company, is outsourcing their jobs to China. The city council in Freeport has asked Mitt Romney to step in and stop the offshoring of Freeport's jobs. When asked about it, Illinois Congressman Kinzinger ignored the question. Watch it.
And people wonder what has happened to the America of past years? China is a totalitarian country that is stealing our country's wealth and prosperity and the companies that facilitate that are unpatriotic, i.e. Bain. Call it the "Bain drain." Maybe a solution is that when those "car sensors" come back in those big cargo containers, they should be slapped with a tariff to pay for the retraining and relocation of the displaced American workers. But of course the Repubs would block that with their filibuster supermajority in the Senate!

Maybe someone can step forward and buy this company from Bain, at a responsible price, and convert it into an employee owned company. A few years back that is what happened to a window company which I believe is still in business today.

Mitt must think we are stupid if he thinks he can convince us that somehow after 1999 Bain Capital wrote an entire new mission statement, re-wrote their business plan & adopted a new business model that was any different than the one Mitt put in place. Bain is still operating business as usual under under Mitt's business model..........Miitt made the rules that they follow at Bain...............Mitt is Mr Bain Capital!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........he created it, created the model & it will always be that way!!!!!!!!!!

MItt Romney doesn't give a damn about community of Freeport, Illinois..............Mitt only cares about making money & the community of Freeport are just collateral damage. This is how it works in simple words.......this is how Mitt built Bain.............Sensata Technologies makes a good profit.............so China decides they want to buy the technology............so Bain picks it up...........China offers to subsidies Bain & build it over there...........so Bain sucks the assets out of the company & makes a big profit.........they then ship the company to China & close down the facility in the USA.............That is bascially what Mitt Romney taught his Bain company how to profit by selling out American workers..........so for Mitt to say he has nothing to do with Bain is a big lie.............Bain operates under Mitt's Business plan, under Mitt's business model...............Mitt can try to distance himself from Bain all he wants, but the fact is that Bain is operating under Mitt's Business Model................it is Mitt's Brain Child on how to get wealthy off the backs of the American people by selling out American workers for a better deal offshore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mitt's mind cannot go there. This would require him to think of someone besides himself. This is simply not part of his capacity.
From a business POV: Bain probably did a "cost benefit analysis (CBA)" which gave them objective data that the products that Freeport makes can be made in China cheaper.
The part of Cost Benefit Analysis that Bain and Mitt don't understand is the "subjective" part of CBA. Example: perhaps I could make it cheaper in another location, however, how much control over QA and my patents will I have? How will it better my community and customers? How will it continue to grow my business?
Sadly, many of the greedheads that have followed this path and only listened to the "objective" analysis have been burned tremendously. China is like a big Xerox machine. No real original ideas, they just make cheap copies of anything you put in front of them. Then after the honeymoon is over and China gets a handle on the process they start making their own competitive version! Fools gold!
Outsourcing to the Asian market is tantamount to showing a bank robber the combination to the vault, and finding out when all the managers are out of the building.
A vote for Mitt is a vote for selfish rich jerks. They have a lot to do... but not for you.

Freeport is already depressed economically. The gall of Romney to just brush this off. Good for the mayor and the employees for fighting back. This needs to be national news out to every network that isn't bought out by Republicans. I just heard the other day that most folks in China (80%) pay cash for a new car and they love American cars. Where are they getting all of that money? From Bain and other corporations that could care less about American workers.
On the China issue - the uniforms the US Olympic team is wearing in London - all made in China when the same uniforms are available in the U.S. - despicable.
