Mitt Romney's campaign is so concerned with the story about his SEC filing, the candidate chose to make the rounds of all the major networks to explain. But Romney only managed to make things worse, even making one claim that suggests the candidate is worth six billion dollars. Watch it.
For g-d shakes Alex where are you coming from. Do you think people who are not conservative dont know all politicans take money from corporations and the wealthy. That is why lets do away with citizens united and make the high rollers of both parties put the name where there money is. The gop was for disclosure and now no way do they want it. What happened Alex that now they say the people will hate me if they know I support a conservative. That is total bull shit as I dont hate people who support conservatives or progress liberals. That is their choice and even if I disagree I wont boycot them or hate them GET REAL...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check it out on the facts on the green solar panel company.
1. The federal loans were started under Bush's watch.
2. There were mega donors to the gop who had large amounts of money in it .... but bush knew of the loan and was behind it 100% I wonder why????
3. This president as well as bush have no control over the final loan as it is done by career federal workers. Obama is out of the loan picture on this one but as I said bush was 100% and obama was there to support the idea of green energy..
4. Did you bother to find out why this company had problems and went bankrupt.. I bet you didnt.
5. I usually dont pick on people with different views but I am fed up with people coming up with shit and just pointing at this president and saying things like this was his fault when the facts show it isnt true..
And finally Alex please answer a question I ask people who just find fault with green energy why the hell are we giving forigen owned oil companies 4 to 5 billion dollars a year. Do you know shell, bp, exxon mobil, the canada owners that want the keystone pipeline got money from us while these companies screw us every day at the gas pump. These are the same companies that give millions to the people who give them the subsides and want to deregulate them more. This also goes for the coal and natural gas companies and between the oil, natural gas, and coal companies we are spending between 43 to 52 billion in subsides. This will cost the tax payer about 1.1 trillon in the next ten years if we dont say no more subsides to the companies,, Please answer why as not on person who complains about green have never answered me yet.....

The Obama campaign receives money from large corporations. GE, Goldman Sacks (2008), Microsoft, Time Warner, JP Morgan, Citi Group.... I could go on and on.
So, this act that these politicians don't take big money is a absolute joke. Liberals just choose to not look at it.
John Kerry, The Kennedys, John Edwards, The Clintons, even the lowly Wasserman-Schultz has money if offshore accounts.
Why did the president "gift" $48,000 to his daughters?? To avoid taxes. Yes even the master taxer is using loopholes in the tax code to avoid paying his "fair share"
But hey, you can help America by donating your wedding gift to Barak. The only candidate in history to ever ask you to give your wedding gift. That is just embarrassing.

But lets get America back to work. Lets look at all the 'green jobs' of the future. How much did this presidents investment in green technology cost Americas children??
'The eventual cost of the loan guarantee program for taxpayers remains unclear. If the revised 60,000 target is reached, it would work out to about $640,000 in loan guarantees for every job created or saved. These financing guarantees were approved by Congress as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.'
How could this Green Energy Genius get it so, so wrong. But hey every investor makes a bad investment now and then, except Barack does it with the Americans peoples money. -Opps- How much more disrespect can he show for your money??
This president has an amazing business record. Only 640K of taxpayer money per job, hot damn lets keep going.
I'm sure that Big Eddie or his dog Rex will explain how Barack's business record is really just the political oppositions fault.
Hey Eddie, how much per Green Job should the American taxpayer expect to pay?
Van Jones should be able to get us some numbers on that!!!!!!!! Wow, can this president pick some talent or what?

Why does Mitt Romney sitting there talking about his money remind me of Thurston Howell III of Gilligan's Island??

Alex, I think it stinks, same as you, but that's beside the point. Corporate abuses will be in overdrive in a robme presidency. I think the only hope for working people is the Democratic party because we will then have a chance to gain some ground and bring sanity back to the system. We need progressive energy programs, progressive judges to be appointed, banking regulations, environmental regulations and more. Corporations are not people and should not be buying politicians. No hope for turning things around under republicons. Like it or not, and I don't like it so much these days, the Democratic party is our best vote these days.
TAX THE RICH, one policy that has always worked.... read history!

Mitt said that he played no role in the investment or personnel decisions made by Bain Capital during the years 2000 through 2003, and Ed said he received a six-figure salary for each of those years.
I wonder, for what did he receive the salary? Just a few days ago, he made the statement to the NAACP folks that “if you want free stuff from the government, vote for the other guy." I assume by that statement that he doesn’t believe in taking something for nothing.
If he doesn’t have anything to hide, why doesn’t he release his tax returns, and prove our reluctance to believe him wrong? After all, Obama had to release his birth certificate to prove he’s American.
We, of the working class, know that there are two standards of conduct for the people of America; one for the working class, and a totally different one for the rich. Knowing that Mitt harbors his money in the Cayman Islands shielding it from American taxes, why should anyone of the working class feel any responsibility to pay their fair share of taxes?
There is nothing he can ever do to win my vote because of the statement he made about college loans for young students. “Just borrow the money from your parents," he says. He has lived such a sheltered and prosperous lifestyle, that he lacks the character to know why someone, whose parents can’t afford the loans, would --- never --- ask that question.
Kind of like a sociopath - the empathy and goodwill is just missing.
However, he is perfect for the bidding of his creators.

Alex I worked for GE and it was when Neutron Jack was the ceo and he brought in the idea of sending jobs out of the us and he also destroyed many companies. He had a mind set to buy companies build them up and the gut them. Doesnt that sound like somebody we know today. GE buys and sells on average 200 companies each and every year and I found out he and the people that were on the board love the idea and they did the cut and gut of the applicance group , medical group, the motor group, the electronic group, and many of the core groups of the company long before jeff came in to the picture. They moved much to asia, mexico, canada, and europe. If you buy a ge microwave it is samsung if you buy kitichen aide or frigadare you get the same thing, if you buy a monogram refer it is made in mexico and the washers are made in canada. So to say one man sends jobs out of country you need to look at past history of the company and all the companies that are doing the same. Also GE coverted over 50% of the business into financial business, and it got its ass kick in 2007 when companies begun to fail and Jeff . started selling off much of it and started to reinvest into jobs here and he has been reinvesting in Appliance Park in KY. They are bring back the Monogram line back to appliance park and that covers washers, dryers, refers, dishwasher and even the microwaves. GE also found that out sourcing isnt the greatest idea for the answer and call centers for their customers, and for making products out of the usa. They got it the quality isnt there when you outsource. I can say this for fact as I had to repair the stuff that was made outside of the USA.
Finally Alex the stories I found that you are quoting are from anywhere 2005 to 2011 so you stories are not new and times have change for GE. Also jack had stated in a public form that if he had his way he would shut down very plant and business GE owned to beat the the cost of labor and taxes and the people on the right loved it. Also when he retired he didnt just leave with a golden handshake he left with a platinum hand shake. His ex wife blew the lid off what he got. An apartment in NY city for visits to the city 10,000.00 per month, tickets to all the shows for every preformance year round cost unknown, the use of a company jet year around, and tickets for every sporting event even when he wasnt in town just incase he wanted a fried to go. When I retired from ge the only good part was I kept my health care until I was 65, and that was for my wife also, for me that ended two years ago, and I retired in 2003 and in 2011 they gave me one extra check, but that was about 90cents month for 8 years. I wont get a increase for g-d knows how long. The last one took over 20 years for the people who retired before me. This is what the hand shake I and others who gave a life time to ge got and this is common with other large companies also the the wages for workers are shit while the ceos and boards are living very well as most sit on each others boards with tons of perks and money...

Politics aside, if we don't get these corrupt banks under control we are all completely doomed. Plea bargain after plea bargain for their billion dollar mistakes and when I say mistakes I will put that in quotes---"mistakes" as in ON PURPOSE!
The latest late Friday news dump-----The New York Federal Reserve knew about and looked the other way when Barclay's of London was doing corrupt LIBOR dealings. These are the guys that cause the JP Morgan Chase 8 billion dollar OOPS.
They just keep getting away with this stuff and NO ONE GOES TO JAIL OR IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE. SLAP ON WRIST, WIMPY FINE AND LET'S FORGET ABOUT THE WHOLE THING.
This is something that I do hold the President accountable for and any before or after him. These people are white collar criminals getting away with the same crimes over and over again.
If there was blood and a crime scene, it would be different. But the damage done is no different, it is MURDERING our economy and our country's future.

Like I said in my last post, they are all bought and paid for, and that is that!!! Some just more than others! The bottom lines is, does the wealthy person in question, relate to the average American? That is the whole debate, here! We have had many wealthy elected officials, who stepped up and did the right things for the country as a whole! Does the name Kennedy mean anything, or ring a bell??

I believe if anybody wants to look at the congressional record, President Obama has ask them to eliminate any tax credit or subsidies to companies that outsource and give it to companies that bring jobs back. Anybody want to guess what congress did?

Jeffrey Immelt out sourced 100 times more that Romney. And the company he ran GE, paid no taxes. To punish this horrible behavior the President appoints him head of the highly touted Jobs Council.
For the Obama campaign, I mean the Ed show, to chastise the opposition is the height of hypocrisy. What do you think of Jeffrey Immelt out sourcing and tax evasion, Pat???
A report from the left-leaning research group Citizens for Tax Justice in 2011, claimed that GE paid an effective federal income tax rate of 11.3 percent that year. The group reported that GE's effective federal income tax rate was negative 76.6 percent in 2010, negative 52.9 percent in 2009, and negative 14.0 percent in 2008, figures that GE has disputed. Another CTJ report claimed that GE has paid an average 2.3 percent tax rate over the past decade.
