Elect Romney and get ready for a plethora of more Enron type scandals in the country. They will be operating with reckless abandon because they will have the blessing of the powers that be that there are no rules anymore.

My only question is, which people are going to die and which buildings are going to be blown up this time to cover up the paper trail from all the scandals?

Which false enemy will be named for doing the deed this time? They'll have to come up with a new enemy to cover their tracks.

And still they will get away with it. The media will be shackled and silenced once again.

First of all, President Obama has been a centrist president. He has held the line on spending. His ACA was all paid for by existing funds. I would just as soon see all the Bush tax cuts expire this year even if it means my taxes go up a little bit next year. All that happens when you cut federal taxes is your local property taxes, user fees, and sales taxes tend to go up. We could not afford the Bush tax cuts in 2001 and 2003 nor can we afford them now. We could always pass a more modest tax cut for lower middle class or the working poor if the economists said it was necessary in 2013. It would be better to keep the public sector fully funded and to increase borrowing for infrastructure upgrades and green energy investments. We can grow our economy and middle class incomes by making these investments in our society. We can not compete against the BRIC and Asian Pacific rim countries with rundown, inefficient, overloaded, and antiquated infrastructure. Our Asian competitors will drive America into the ground if we do not have modern state of the art infrastructure.

Middle class people lost about 40% of their net worth in 2008. It will be many years before all of those eight million jobs and personal assets come back. I think most voters have a handle on this concept. We have to get past the mindset of that we can avoid spending money on green energy and infrastructure. Our economic situation will only deteriorate and our economy will stagnate if we do not invest in bullet trains, solar, wind, geothermal, smart grids, and biomass fuels that can be used for heat and power applications. Co-generation is another idea that could help produce small scale electricity from waste heat turned into steam in industrial plants. It has been estimated that if all the industrial plants in the state of Ohio had co-generation systems that the entire state's electricity could be produced. Now all that waste heat is just that wasted. Co-generation needs to be part of an Apollo energy program.

Germany produced 50% of its electricity this May by solar panels. Now just think if we had solar panels in Ohio like the Germans have. If we had co-generation plants, smart grids, and solar and wind farms Ohio would become a net energy exporter. We could power all the bullet trains and electric cars we wanted too while protecting the environment. We are much closer to a major energy revolution than many people think. Using fossil fuels many more time efficiently by co-generation system and supplementing them heavily with solar and wind energy connected to a smart grid will help make America energy independent. We don't lack ideas and technology, we lack the political leadership that has the balls to stand up to the Big Oil and Gas lobby. But this does not mean that the relationship must always be adversarial. Why couldn't oil and gas companies invest in green energy? I couldn't care less if Exxon-Mobil made big profits from solar panels and wind farms and co-generation systems. In fact I would happily cheer them on.

This is the best way to push letting the Tax rates sunset for taxable income above $250,000.00

Lets keep the current tax rate for everyone on the first $250,000.00 of taxable income..........that is the best way to explain it..........Lets see the Republicans argue against that..........anyone who can't pay just a little bit more on the portion of their income above that amount is living well beyond their means............what happened to personal responsibility??

Just for the record:

I would have no problem if we let the Bush tax rates sunset on all income...........I would rather have that happen than caving in.

It takes a Rhode scholar IQ+ to keep these facts all straight ..then say them at the correct time and in the correct way. got to love that GOP echo chamber making it so more difficult than it has to be..

Even if you make millions, the first $250,000.00 would be taxed at a lower rate.

Every American will get a low tax rate on their first $250,000.00 dollars of taxable income....................it will only go up incrementally for income above that if we let the Bush tax cuts expire on the income above that amount..............in my opinion that fact isn't being explained properly.................I repeat 100% of tax payers will get the lower rate on their first $250,000.00 of taxable income................

Mitt claims he has X-amount of years as a business man in the private sector..............then he claims he was done at Bain in 1999...........which is completely false & he won't release his tax returns to back up his multiple lies..............he then goes on to say he has no idea about his foreign accounts & investments on foreign soil.........yet he still says he has X-amount of business experience.............so which is it Mitt??????????? Where, what & why are you hiding the tax documents to back your filthy lies????????????

There are so many misinformed conservatives who are against the stimulus which gave them some of the biggest tax breaks in my lifetime...........they still believe that Pres Obama raised their taxes which is completely false.............you can tell them the facts & they just don't & won't believe it....................you then throw the very low flat rate of current Government spending under President Obama at them & they still don't get it.............
