Michele Bachmann appeared on Piers Morgan last night and pretended she's being vetted for the VP spot on Romney's ticket. With multiple sources speculating on Romney's future veep nomination, and nearly all of them agreeing that Romney is searching for a safe pick to avoid his own Palin debacle, Bachmann could just come out and admit she's light-years from the nomination. But that would probably be too painful to the Congresswoman who couldn't even make a strong showing in her birth state. Watch it.
I think someone is opening a rehab center for the seriously self deluded. The first few patients will be Scott Brown, Michelle Bachman, and Joe Walsh. Since most of the patients will be Congress, I am sure it will be government funded. Instead of compassionate "patient centered" healthcare, I vote for let's get some of those "Scared Straight" guys from Joliet or Rikers Island. We can make them the counselors. They'll get the same amount of care and compassion that they give to average Americans. Heck let's even make it a reality series.

Bachmann's brain is fueled on llama excrement.
self-aggrandizement - an act undertaken to increase your own power and influence or to draw attention to your own importance.
The poor dear is overwhelmed by her own self-importance.
The medical condition is self aggrandized dementia. See should seek help immediately before her poor brain explodes from the pressure of containing such self-absorbed distortions in the confinement of a human skull.

Happy 4th of July back at ya, Linda, and everyone. No fireworks or campfires here in Colorado. I'm sure the teabag residents of my county feel this is an encroachment on their freedom to burn down the entire state, but sanity wins this time.
TAX THE RICH because, we all know, freedom isn't really free!
It's hard to find any second or more generation American who hasn't had some relative serve their country in the military. Oh, I thought of one! Our own mittens robme. Interesting how the 99% pays for freedom with their blood and service while the 1% profit and then don't want to pay anything in return.

Happy 4th of July everyone. Enjoy your day off, your backyard bbq's, your parades, your fireworks (well not in Colo), and all that this day embodies.
I remember having the good fortune to get to visit Lexington and Concord some years ago. All I could think about was what a gorgeous place, why would anyone want to wage a bloody war here?
We did not go after that one, it came after us, remembering the famous line "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes, but if they mean to have war, let it begin here."
I can't help but wonder how many of today's "patriotic" leaders would volunteer if another war came to our shores again. They talk a good game as long as the war is "over there" and "outsourced."
The soldiers of 1776 didn't have that luxury. Our first President led the battle. Many of our nations leaders were involved in direct military engagement. How come that doesn't happen anymore? Our so called leaders are so far removed from these wars they wage. They don't know who they send in to battle and they don't care who pays for it, as long as they profit and don't have any direct involvment and can use it as a poltical tool. War is now bottom line big business.
It's not your great great great Grandfather's war anymore. It hasn't been about duty, honor, and country for a long long time.
I've never understood how these false patriots could one minute declare war and everyone against it unpatriotic, then the next minute fire a photographer for snapping flag draped coffins on a military transport plane. There is something deeply disturbing about that.
I would like to take this time to thank all our servicemen and women and their families for their daily sacrifice. And I pray that one day soon we might actually have a day that we are not in combat somewhere in the world.

Yes, rest in peace, Andy Griffith! Always a decent, honest man and good Democrat. One of the last public pieces he appeared in was a political ad in favor of Obamacare. A "news" reporter today called that appearance "controversial." huh? Griffith was always an outspoken liberal. His first movie and probably his greatest performance was "Face in the Crowd" a chiller about a radio/tv personality gone amok: Lonesome Rhodes. That's why Keith Olbermann always called Glen Beck, Lonesome Rhodes.
Lonesome Rhodes: "Rednecks, crackers, hillbillies, hausfraus, shut-ins, pea-pickers – everybody that’s got to jump when somebody else blows the whistle. [...] They’re mine! I own ‘em! They think like I do. Only they’re even more stupid than I am, so I gotta think for ‘em." it's almost as if Elia Kazan foresaw fox news.
Go away, Bachmann. Please be defeated this November. The Dems are lining up to run against her and one is pretty wealthy.. might just boot out ole michele!
TAX THE RICH, Andy Griffith would agree.

Are we trying to help or disable Mitts Campaign?
I say go for it, Mitt! Michelle Bachman would be a GREAT VP pick. It's important Mitt, you really need to get the woman's vote and she's a woman, she'll help you capture the woman's vote.

Joe Walsh, pay your child support, and your back tax liens, and then STFU. You are not fit to be in public office. You actually tried to negotiate your own child support "deal" with your wife. You have no respect for women or the rule of law. If Tammy Duckworth was a big huge brawny guy with combat service you wouldn't touch it. But because she is a woman she is fair game. Anybody that would vote for you after this needs serious medication like you.
To my earlier post-----Barney Fife!!!!

Some will enjoy this. Our non friendly idiot "Jerry" Las Vegas, that was banned from this blog, was just banned from the vine. That covers ALL of the MSNBC programs. His insults and name calling caught up with him once again.
