The Olbermann/Current TV feud has been going on for months. But when I saw that idiot Spitzer show up on tv last night I almost threw up.
Now imagine this----you've got a woman Congressman or Governor that the people discover is prostituting on the side. She's outed and has to resign in disgrace.
What are the odds that you are going to see that woman on a major tv network in an anchor role??
I am so frigging sick of the double standard in this society.
This man should be working in a ditch somewhere. And furthermore, why was he not prosecuted for solicitation? It's ILLEGAL to solicit prostitutes in New York. Look at what they do to all the "madams". First they threaten their lives if they don't give up their little black books, then they get prosecuted, then "suicided."
Do you think they would have given Deborah Jean Palfrey an anchor job on Current? Are they that hard up for decent talking heads???

I bought a $5 chance. I rarely play the lotto, but it's kind of fun to do once in a while. I actually got 4 out of 6 numbers one time on Texas Lotto.
Still trying to figure out where all this lottery money is going, they always told us oh, it will go to education, they just didn't say education on which planet.

This is a transparent, desperate attempt by a father to defend his son, who’s story, as relayed by his consul, doesn’t add up. It’s time for an arrest and the justice of this great nation will provide George Zimmerman a fair trial and a verdict from a jury of his peers.

Rubio is attempting to rewrite The Dream Act. He has "dreamed up" The Non-Citizen-For-life concept. What rubio and the repubs are offering in this concept is a LEGALIZED STATUS ( Rubio is hoping that the latino youth will be so afraid of being deported that they will vote for the republican who is offering this empty )gift ) legalized status NOT CITIZENSHIP is what Rubio wants the republicans to offer to the Latino community.......

The right wing conservatives without consciences are very good at trying to prevent us from keeping our eyes on the ball. Bottom line is that George Zimmerman was told by the police dispatcher to NOT follow Trayvon.. He did not listen and continued to chase the teen. If he was attacked and the evidence to this fact seem to very shaky at best, didn't he ask for it by his own behavior? It appears that the Zimmerman family is part of the conservatives who are using any situation to rally their troops with race code. Unfortunately for them, we will fight this strategy because their motives are not honorable. This country is for ALL Americans not a select few that want to spread their bias against other people. Diversity is one of the things that make this country great.

With the information on the 911 tapes, Zimmerman following Martin, the "stand your ground" law does not apply. Even Rubio (R) FL said it does not give a person the right to persue.

This botched investigation is by no means all the Sanford police department's doing. At least one of the police officers investigating the case felt Zimmerman's story did not match up with the facts of the case. The local prosecuting attorney felt there was not enough evidence to charge Zimmerman with a crime under Florida's "stand your ground" laws. Does anyone know if this is a result of the problems created with the "stand your ground" laws or is it the "good old boys" network of racism of not sweating the loss of a black man? Perhaps it could just be incompetent work on the part of the prosecuting attorneys? These are questions for the Justice Department and federal authorities who have to do the state's job for them I guess.
I wish Ed would get back to politics again. Its just time to let the Justice Department deal with the Trayvon case. The case is sad and awful but not much more can be said about it. Give us some updates in the future but no more please. But this whole episode should remind us that the Democrats need to find a way to deal with these "make my day" laws or "stand your ground" laws or carry and conceal laws. The NRA and ALEC have done a major disservice to our society by cheapening human life everywhere they push these laws. I think that is the real lesson of this whole sad Trayvon slaying, that right wingers make human life cheap by their stupid and radical gun laws.
