Does anyone know what is going on with the postal service?? What the heck are they trying to do now??? Whatever it is, it does NOT stand!

Just what do they think they would replace it with??? A private postal service?? Well we've already seen how good that works. They toss your tv over the fence to you, then give the finger to your surveillance camera.

This is about unions. The postal service has a big union, and they want it gone. They want all unions gone, all workers rights gone, all government gone.

Well guess what, we're keeping the unions, we're keeping the postal service, we're not giving up our workers rights, and WE'RE GOING TO GET RID OF YOU INSTEAD TEA PARTY AND RIGHT WING LUNATICS!

Kudos to Father Thomas Kelly of Wisconsin for tearing into the Paul Ryan budget and calling it cruel and inhumane.

He said that this budget will leave the most vulnerable people, the poor and the elderly to fend for themselves. He was appalled by what he saw.

Thank you Father Kelly, this is the Catholic Church I remember. I thought it had become extinct.

He also emphasized the point that it's not enought to beat the right to life drum, that right to life doesn't just mean the unborn, it means everyone, from cradle to grave.

He especially chastized him about the fact that he is also Catholic and couldn't believe a fellow Catholic would do this kind of thing to his own people.

Did everyone see the video tonight of the Dennis Terry, the Greenwell Springs Baptist preacher saying anyone who was not a Christian get out of this country? One woman behind him even stood up and applauded him! Rick Santorum was in the audience and gave him a standing ovation as well. He quickly had to back track and say he was not applauding the Muslims and Buddhists could get out of the country remark. Rachel Maddow had it on her show. What happened to religious freedom?

I think I know why Tyler Perry's Madea movies are so popular. Because people are just fed up paying taxes into a law enforcement and court system that threw them overboard years ago. The court system is now in place to see to it that the innocent get convicted and the guilty go free. No money no justice. If you are rich and powerful you can get away with anything. From all indications, Congress has become a place to hide out for career criminals who can't get a job in the real world, alcoholics, pedophiles, rapists and womanizers, and ex cons running new more respectable cons, the kind that you can wrap up in the flag and nobody is supposed to notice. They seem to be more intent on passing laws that have nothing to do with the greater good of society but everything to do with covering up crimes and stripping our citizens of their basic civil rights. It has become the epicenter of legalized theft. Theft from the taxpayers to give aid and comfort to millionaires.

Why yes, by all means, let's let that fine upstanding Congressman with the rap sheet for auto theft, weapons violations, and arson lead the way to the moral high ground.

Fortunately, we can count on the Catholic Bishops and pro-assasination Protestant preachers in private jets to stand up, speak up, and speak out against the murder of an innocent child. Oh thats right, they aren't speaking up on this matter either. The Bishops were in Washington doing follow-up lobbying with Darrell Issa on the issue they are least able to speak with authority on. And the family value, moral majority preachers are promoting assasination of foreigners, teaching "Christian" values in territorial Marianas sweatshops, preaching fear and hate, and encouraging the flock to terrorize health care professionals. Way to go fellas. and peace be with you too.

C'mon, Ed. Stop misconstruing the 'stand your ground' law. It's not a license to kill. This is truly the first time I've felt like your position on a topic can be labled 'far left.'

If you kill a person and claim 'self-defense,' the circumstances still need to meet certain criteria to hold water. Just because you you claim self-defense does not give one an automatic pass on murder.

These laws help more than hurt. Murder is murder, and people who find themselves in a life or death situation at no fault of their own need to have the legal protection and right to protect themselves if they so choose to.

This guy murdered a kid. The 'stand your ground' law doesn't hold water in this situation. That'd be like getting drunk, driving your car, killing someone, and say, "Well, they gave me a license to drive so I guess I'm off the hook." No, you made a bad decision and there are consequences for that decision. Same here. This guy willingly and knowlingly placed himself in a situation, did not attempt to remove himself from that situation, and still needs to prove "immenent danger." 'Stand your ground' does not apply. Please stop creating a band wagon.

The best part is the outrage being expressed by the GOP. Oh you haven't heard a single Republiklan speak out either. I thought it was just me. Can you spell SHAMELESS?

Totally off topic

Hey Ed, can you post the video of the ducklings trying to get through the White House fence yesterday???
