House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Ed Royce, R-CA, said Tuesday the United States should enforce the Nuclear agreement with Iran rather than scrapping the bill.
“I think we should enforce the hell out of the agreement and thereby force compliance on the part of Iran,” Ryce said during an interview with CNN.
Royce’s comments come following an address to the United Nations General Assembly where he slammed the deal with Iran negotiated by his predecessor Barack Obama.
“Frankly, that deal is an embarrassment to the United States, and I don’t think you’ve heard the last of it — believe me,” Trump said.
Royce held strong that the focus should be ensuring Iran respects the agreement.
“Going forward, how do we focus on compliance and enforcement of the agreement?” Royce said. “And how do we focus on preventing them from moving forward with their intercontinental ballistic missile programs, as well as their movement of troops?”
