Rep. Jared Huffman, D-CA, Tweeted that Hillary Clinton should not blame Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT, for opening the door for Hillary Clinton to attack her.
“Please Hillary, don’t go there,” Huffman tweeted in response to an excerpt released from Clinton’s upcoming book. “I supported you. Bernie showed restraint & class & ran aspirational campaign. Politics is rough sometimes.”

Clinton writes in her new book, “What Happened,” That Sanders did “lasting damage” to her campaign.
She writes that during the primary season, she was told to “restrain” herself when she wanted to “hit back” against Sanders’ criticism.
“When I finally challenged Bernie during a debate to name a single time I changed a position or a vote because of a financial contribution, he couldn’t come up with anything,” Clinton wrote.
“Nonetheless, his attacks caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election and paving the way for Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ campaign.”
