President Trump on Thursday showed his commitment to Western values during a speech in Warsaw, Poland that seemed to be an attempt to ease the minds of European allies.
“The West will never, ever be broken. Our values will prevail,” Trump said during an address at Krasinski Square.
The U.S. President also took issue with Russia, warning them to stop their “destabilizing activities” activities in Ukraine and their support for the Iranian and Syrian regimes.
The comments appeared to be directed toward the people of Poland, who are concerned about Russia’s influence and historic role in their country.
