President Trump on Monday called on his former acting Attorney General to answer the question about how classified information was leaked to the press.
“Ask Sally Yates, under oath, if she knows how classified information got into the newspapers soon after she explained it to W.H. Council,” Trump Tweeted early Monday morning.

Yates, who will testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday, is expected to talk about the warnings she gave to the White House in reference to former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn’s contacts with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. It is believed that Yates told the White House that Flynn may have lied to the administration about his communications with ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
