Vice President Mike Pence said Wednesday that the House Vote scheduled for Thursday to replace Obamacare was “one of the defining victories for life.”
“When we vote to repeal and replace Obamacare we will finally vote to defund Planned Parenthood,” Pence said to a standing ovation at the 10th anniversary “Campaign for Life” gala in Washington.
The House plans to vote Thursday on the bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
Pence added that the U.S. has an administration “that’s filled top to bottom with people who stand without apology for life.”
“Life is winning in America,” he added during the gala.
He said that the passage of Obama’s healthcare legislation was a “disappointment for the sanctity of life.”
“President Trump is fighting every single day,” Pence said, “to restore the sanctity of life to the center of American law.”
