Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday said he “hopes” Congress will repeal and replace the Affordable Care act by the end of 2017.
“We’re hopeful there’ll be action in the House of Representatives soon,” Pence said during an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “I think health care reform, repealing and replacing Obamacare, is just around the corner.”
Prence went on to talk about the Congressional Republican’s failed attempt to repeal and replace the law.
“Congress obviously wasn’t ready to begin the process of repealing Obamacare a little more than a month ago, but I think we’re close,” he said.
“I hope before the end of the year,” Pence added.
