Bannon “Livid” With Former Publication For Suggesting Priebus Could Lose Job

White House chief strategist Steve Bannon said Wednesday that he was “livid” with his former publication Brietbart News for reporting that President Trump’s chief of staff Reince Priebus could be on his way out.

Bannon, who left his position as Breitbart News Chairman to be Trump’s campaign CEO, said Wednesday that was “not upset — livid.”

Brietbart published a story on Tuesday titled “As Flynn Resigns, Priebus Future In Doubt As Trump Allies Circulate List of Alternate Chief of Staff Candidates,” after the White House asked for the resignation of National Security Adviser Michal Flynn.

Bannon Said the Report was “totally untrue.”

“Reince is doing a great job. I couldn’t ask any more from a partner,” he told CNN.

He also told the Atlantic that the story was “absurd.”
