Reince Priebus, the incoming White House Chief of Staff, denies claims that Donald Trump discussed an unverified report regarding Russia having compromising information on him during a meeting with intelligence officials.
Priebus said the report, which claimed Trump was aware of alleged Russian hacking, was “phony baloney” and “total garbage.”
“What I can tell you is that I was there and these crazy accusations … were never discussed,” Priebus added during an interview with the Today Show.
Priebus slammed the report, published by Buzzfeed Tuesday evening, saying it was the first time he had heard of some of the disgusting allegations included.
“This is not an intelligence document,” Priebus said, referencing the “handwritten page numbers in the corners” of the report as “proof.”
